Yes4All (often typed as 'yes for all') makes practical home gym equipment. At Sportium the range includes 3-in-1 wooden and soft-padded plyo boxes, multi-grip and vinyl-coated kettlebells, surf-style and rocker balance boards, adjustable aerobic steps, wall-mounted and wheeled plate and barbell storage, a wall pull-up and dip station, a landmine handle, adjustable dumbbells, fractional plates, sandbags and a steel macebell.

A 3-in-1 plyo box gives three heights from one box by turning it on its side: 30, 36 and 41 cm (12, 14 and 16 in) on the smaller models, or 41, 46 and 51 cm (16, 18 and 20 in) on the larger soft box. Start on the lowest height, land softly on both feet and step down rather than jumping back off. Soft-padded boxes are kinder to shins if you clip the edge. Olympic accessories such as the landmine handle and fractional plates are made for 50 mm (2 in) sleeves and bars, so they won't fit standard 25 mm (1 in) bars.

Is Yes4All equipment suitable for a home gym?

Yes4All focuses on straightforward kit for home use, such as plywood plyo boxes rated to 204 kg, cast-iron kettlebells and steel storage racks. Check each product page for load ratings and dimensions, and compare them with the weights you lift now and plan to lift, to make sure an item suits your space and training.

How high should my first plyo box be?

Use the lowest side to begin with, around 30 cm (12 in) or 41 cm (16 in) depending on the box, and only move up once they can land quietly with their knees tracking over their toes. Height isn't the goal: a lower box with good landings is better training than a high box you have to tuck onto. Step down between reps.

What can a balance board be used for?

Surf-style roller boards train the balance and foot control used in surfing, skating and snowboarding, while rocker boards with fixed tilt angles, such as Yes4All's 15°, 18° and 20° board, suit steadier balance work and standing-desk breaks. Start beside a wall or rail, keep the stoppers fitted and move on to the roller once you are steady.

Does the Yes4All landmine handle fit any barbell?

The Viking landmine handle is made for 50 mm (2 in) Olympic bar sleeves, so it fits an Olympic barbell set in a landmine base or a protected corner. It will not fit a standard 25 mm (1 in) bar. Check the load rating on the product page and add plates gradually while you learn the movement.
