Triangle passer or clamp-on passer: which should I get?

A triangle passer is a free-standing frame with rebound bands on three sides, so you can receive passes from different angles and practise one-timers. A clamp-on passer attaches to a board, net or the edge of a shooting pad and returns the puck straight back, which suits repetitive forehand and backhand passing drills.

Do stickhandling balls work on any surface?

Hardwood stickhandling balls are designed not to bounce, so they behave much like a puck on concrete, smooth tiles, synthetic ice or a shooting pad. On rough tarmac they can chip, so a low-bounce street hockey ball is the better choice outdoors. Weighted balls are heavier than a puck and add resistance for wrist work.
