What height should a dartboard be hung at?

The standard is 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in) from the floor to the centre of the bullseye, with the throw line, or oche, 2.37 m (7 ft 9¼ in) from the face of the board measured along the floor. Fit a surround to protect the wall, and rotate a bristle board now and then so the most-used segments wear evenly.

What size pool balls do I need?

It depends on your table. English pool tables, common in UK pubs and homes, use 2 inch object balls with a 1⅞ inch cue ball. American pool tables use 2¼ inch balls throughout, the size of most Aramith regulation sets. The wrong size changes how balls drop into the pockets and come off the cushions.

How far apart should cornhole boards be?

In regulation play the front edges of the boards are 27 feet (about 8.2 m) apart, with each board 2 ft by 4 ft and a 6 inch hole. For children or a smaller garden, shorten the distance to suit; casual games often use 15–21 feet. Choose all-weather bags if the set will be used on damp grass.

Where should I put a garden trampoline?

Choose level ground with soft grass underneath and clear space all round, away from fences, trees, washing lines and paving. Use a safety enclosure and frame pads, allow one person on at a time, and check springs, net and mat regularly for wear. Follow the maker's age and user weight limits.
