Accuplay pool table felt Pre-Cut 567 g Blue for 2.4 m Table — 75% Wool/25% Polyamide, Medium-Fast Play

Accuplay 20 oz pre-cut blue pool table felt is a premium 75% wool, 25% polyamide billiard cloth kit sized to re-cover a standard 8' table bed and rails.

This pre-cut Accuplay felt package includes a 54" x 102" bed piece plus six 6" rail pieces designed specifically for an 8' pool table. With a 20-ounce medium-fast weight and a wool-rich blend, the cloth balances durability, ball roll consistency and a smooth playing surface. Made in Mexico, the fabric arrives ready to install for hobbyists and pros who want a clean, professional-looking recover without buying bulk bolts of cloth.

How does the weight and fiber blend affect play?

The 20 oz weight gives a medium-fast ball response—faster than lightweight tournament speed cloth but with more control than very heavy options. The 75% wool content provides resilience and natural nap, while 25% polyamide adds tear resistance and easier maintenance.

• 20 oz fabric produces predictable roll and moderate speed
• Wool offers natural recovery where the cloth flexes and stretches
• Polyamide improves tear strength and stain resistance
• Combined blend reduces pilling and extends usable life

What is included and will it fit my table exactly?

This kit is precut for an 8' table: one bed piece measuring 54" x 102" and six rail strips at 6" wide each. It’s intended to cover standard 8-foot slate or plywood beds and the corresponding rails, but always measure your table before installation to confirm fit, especially if your table has non-standard cushions or rail widths.

• Bed piece: 54" x 102"—matches most 8' table beds
• Rails: six strips, each 6" wide for standard cushions
• Precut format saves time versus cutting from bolts
• Confirm rail width and bed dimensions prior to purchase

How durable and maintainable is Accuplay 20 oz felt?

The wool-rich cloth resists abrasions and holds nap for consistent play; polyamide content helps prevent tearing and excessive wear. Routine brushing and occasional light vacuuming keep the surface clean, while avoiding harsh chemicals preserves color and fiber integrity.

• Wool blend resists crushing and holds chalk well
• Polyamide reduces the risk of snags and rips
• Easy to care for—brush in one direction and vacuum lightly
• Avoid solvent cleaners to maintain colorfastness

Can I install this myself or should I hire a pro?

Many homeowners and hobbyists can install the precut felt with basic tools and patience, but experienced installers achieve the cleanest results. Expect to use contact adhesive, a staple gun or tacks for rails, and to follow step-by-step stretching and alignment techniques to avoid wrinkles.

• DIY-friendly if you have basic tools and time
• Professional installation yields the tightest, longest-lasting finish
• Precut pieces reduce fabric waste and simplify cutting steps
• Allow extra time to align cloth with pocket openings and seams

Who this is for: This Accuplay 20 oz precut pool table felt is suited for serious home players, league competitors, and pool hall owners who want a wool-rich, medium-fast playing surface specifically sized for 8' tables. It’s also a practical choice for DIY restorations where a durable, attractive blue cloth and easy-to-handle precut pieces are priorities. If you need a different color, custom sizing, or a heavier tournament-speed cloth, consider checking other Accuplay options or consult a fitter before ordering.
