Sportium (“we”) is a trading name of BARONI SUPPLIER LTD, 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, IP1 1RJ, United Kingdom, which is the controller of your personal data. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Contact details: name, delivery and billing addresses, email, phone number.
  • Order details: items bought, returned or exchanged, and payment details (processed by our payment provider; we never see your full card number).
  • Account: login details and order history if you create an account.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, including any sizing information you choose to share.
  • Browsing: IP address, browser and pages viewed, collected through cookies.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and answer your questions (contract).
  • To send our newsletter if you have agreed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure (legitimate interests).
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts the shop and processes payments; couriers; our fulfilment partner, which prepares orders; and our email and analytics providers. Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell your data. Some data is transferred outside the UK, including to the United States and the European Union, with appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the shop to work (basket, checkout) and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year to meet tax obligations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or two years after your last interaction. Account data is kept until you delete your account.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Email sportium.co.uk@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), but we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

Children

Our shop is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
