What size trampoline should I buy for a toddler?

For toddlers, a small indoor rebounder of about 91–140 cm (36–55 in) with a padded handlebar or full safety enclosure is the usual choice. Check the age range and maximum user weight on the listing; some models start from age one, others from three. Garden trampolines of 3 m and above are designed for older children.

What size replacement trampoline mat do I need?

Measure the frame diameter across the centre from outside edge to outside edge, then count the springs or V-rings around the frame and measure the spring length. A replacement mat has to match both the frame size and the number of rings, for example a 4.3 m mat with 80 or 84 rings, or the springs will not tension evenly.

How many children can go on a trampoline at once?

One at a time. RoSPA advises a single user, because collisions and uneven bounces between people are a common cause of trampoline injuries, and lighter children are thrown about most. An enclosure net, padded frame and adult supervision reduce the risk further, and somersaults are best left to supervised gymnastics sessions.

Should I cover a trampoline in winter?
