AlphaBeing Extra-Large Beach Blanket Waterproof Sandproof — Rip-Stop Polyester, Packable with Stakes

AlphaBeing Beach Blanket Waterproof Sandproof is an extra-large, quick-drying beach mat designed to repel sand and water while seating an entire family comfortably.

Packable, lightweight, and made from rip-stop polyester (pongee), this oversized beach mat combines sandproof performance with easy care so you can spend more time relaxing and less time cleaning. Built-in corner sand pockets and included ABS ground stakes secure the blanket on windy shorelines or open lawns. Two size options let you choose space for the whole group or a smaller outing, and the foldable design stores in a carry bag with a carabiner for hands-free travel.

How does this blanket keep sand and moisture away?

The fabric is a tightly woven, water-resistant rip-stop polyester that resists sand embedding and sheds splashes. A quick shake releases trapped particles and the surface dries rapidly, so towels and belongings stay cleaner.

• Rip-stop polyester (pongee) surface resists sand and moisture.
• Water-repellent finish allows easy shaking-off of debris.
• Quick-drying, breathable material minimizes dampness beneath items.

Will it stay put in windy conditions?

Yes — the blanket includes a dual anchoring system to hold it steady on sand, grass, or soil. Use the sewn corner sand pockets filled with sand or stones for weight, or drive the ABS stakes through the designated loops for secure placement.

• Four corner sand pockets that can be filled for ballast.
• Four ABS ground stakes for firm anchoring in softer surfaces.
• Reinforced corners and loops reduce lift on gusty days.

How portable and durable is the AlphaBeing beach mat?

Despite the generous dimensions, the blanket packs small and is lightweight (about 1.2 kg), making it easy to carry to picnics, campsites, or beach days. The rip-stop weave and machine-washable fabric are designed to withstand repeated outdoor use.

• Folds into a compact carry bag with integrated carabiner for attachment.
• Lightweight at approximately 2.6 lbs for simple transport.
• Durable rip-stop construction is machine washable for easy maintenance.

What activities is this mat best suited for?

This versatile mat performs well as a beach blanket, oversized picnic spread, play area for kids, or ground cover beneath tents and umbrellas. The large 120" x 108" option fits groups up to eight, while the 79" x 83" size suits smaller families and couples.

• Family beach days and group lounging without crowding.
• Picnics, camping ground cover, and kids’ outdoor play mats.
• Base layer under umbrellas or a lightweight shade shelter.
