Ann Katy Upgrade XL Portable Toilet is a foldable, extra-tall camping toilet designed for adults and families who need a comfortable, sturdy solution for outdoor travel and emergency use.

This upgraded model raises the seat height to 16.1 inches and combines a firm density-board frame with a soft, leather-like cover for a stable, comfortable experience. It folds compactly into a waterproof carry bag, includes two side handles and a storage pocket, and supports up to 440 lbs—making it a practical choice for camping, road trips, boating, or home emergency preparedness.

How is this XL toilet different from standard portable camping toilets?

The Ann Katy Upgrade XL stands taller than common portable toilets, providing a more natural seated position for adults and taller users. Its construction uses coated density board and premium leather-like material for comfort instead of cold plastic. Two sturdy handles and a heavy-duty base improve portability and stability compared with lightweight molded options.

• 16.1-inch seat height — about 40% higher than many standard units
• Sturdy density-board frame with leather-like cover for comfort
• 440 lb weight capacity for family use
• Integrated storage pocket and dual handles for convenience

How quickly does it set up, and what waste containment works with it?

The folding mechanism is simple: it opens and locks in seconds and folds flat for storage. The toilet is supplied with a dedicated garbage bag and accepts most 6–8 gallon bags, so cleanup is fast and hygienic. When paired with disposable liners, it’s easy to remove waste and maintain the seat.

• Rapid open-and-fold design for immediate use
• Compatible with 6–8 gallon trash bags and provided liner
• Smooth inner surfaces for easy cleaning
• Waterproof carry bag included to transport and protect the unit

Can this be used for other purposes besides a toilet?

Yes—this model was designed to perform multiple roles at camp or on the road. When not used as a toilet it doubles as a storage box, small table, trash can, or a compact seat. The stable top and durable materials support those alternative uses, increasing its value in a limited-space setup.

• Use as a compact stool or folding seat
• Converts to a storage compartment or temporary side table
• Serves as a trash receptacle or gear holder at campsite
• Durable finish withstands outdoor wear and tear

How portable is it for travel, and what accessories are included?

The toilet collapses to a slim profile—about 3.15 x 15 x 11.8 inches—so it fits easily into car trunks, RV compartments, and backpacks. A waterproof storage bag is included to keep the folded unit dry and compact while traveling. Built-in handles and a large external pocket make it easy to move and to keep small items like phones or wipes close at hand.

• Folded dimensions: 3.15 x 15 x 11.8 inches for compact transport
• Waterproof storage bag for travel protection
• Dual carrying handles and large outer pocket for convenience
• Lightweight but supports up to 440 lbs
