AO Coolers Expedition Canvas Soft-Sided Cooler Bag, Red, 24-Can, Leak-Proof Insulated

The AO Coolers Expedition Canvas is a leak-proof, soft-sided cooler bag that fits 24 cans, holds about 14 pounds of ice, and combines rugged canvas styling with high-density insulation for reliable temperature retention on the go.

Light enough to carry yet built to endure day trips, tailgates, and outings on the water, this Expedition Canvas cooler merges a durable soft-canvas exterior with a welded TPU liner and thick insulation. Its 17 x 10 x 12 inch footprint makes it large enough for a full 24-can load while still fitting in trunks and boat lockers. The removable shoulder strap, external side pocket, and lightweight construction make it an easy grab-and-go solution when you need drinks and food kept cold (or warm) for several hours.

How well does it keep contents cold on long outings?

The cooler uses high-density thermal insulation plus a welded, leak-proof TPU liner to slow heat transfer and prevent spills. It isn’t a hard-sided icebox for multi-day ice retention, but it performs strongly for day trips and activities lasting several hours.

• High-density insulation throughout the walls and lid for improved chill retention.
• Welded TPU liner stops leaks and makes internal cleanup quick and simple.
• Holds roughly 14 pounds of ice alongside 24 cans for several hours of cooling.

Is the bag durable enough for boating, fishing, and outdoor sports?

The canvas exterior resists everyday abrasion and travel wear while still being soft and packable. Reinforced seams, a rugged zipper, and quality hardware help it withstand activity-focused use; the leak-proof liner prevents interior moisture from degrading the fabric over time.

• Durable soft canvas shell designed for travel and outdoor use.
• Robust zipper and reinforced stitching at stress points for longevity.
• TPU liner protects the fabric from moisture and makes the bag easy to rinse out.

How easy is it to carry and organize with practical features?

A removable shoulder strap plus a compact, rectangular shape make the bag easy to move and store. An external side pocket holds small items, and the interior layout accommodates cans, bottles, or meal containers without fuss.

• Removable shoulder strap for comfortable over-the-shoulder carry.
• External side pocket for keys, phone, utensils, or ice packs.
• 17 x 10 x 12 inch size fits conveniently in cars, boats, and picnic areas.

What maintenance does the cooler require to stay functional?

Cleaning and upkeep are straightforward thanks to the leak-proof liner and simple interior geometry. Rinse the liner after use, allow it to dry fully before storage, and inspect zippers and seams occasionally to extend the bag’s service life.

• Wipe or rinse the TPU liner; air dry completely before storing.
• Spot clean the canvas exterior with mild soap and water as needed.
• Remove shoulder strap when storing to prevent hardware wear and tangling.
