ARENA Air Sonic Swim Racing Goggles — Small Fit, Wide Mirrored Lenses, CloudFlex Cushioning

ARENA Air Sonic are lightweight, competition-grade swim goggles with a small fit, wide mirrored lenses, and CloudFlex cushioning for reduced eye pressure.

Built for swimmers who demand speed, comfort and clear peripheral vision, these ARENA Unisex Air Sonic goggles blend a minimal profile with ergonomic padding and adaptable fittings. Their mirrored wide-lens design improves lateral sightlines while the CloudFlex cushioning system reduces localized pressure around the eye socket. Constructed from a mix of polycarbonate, thermoplastic elastomer and silicone, the goggles offer durability without sacrificing flexibility.

How do these goggles stay comfortable during long sessions?

The Air Sonic uses ARENA’s CloudFlex cushioning system, a soft, adaptive seal that spreads contact forces more evenly to avoid sore spots. The low-volume shell keeps water out while minimizing bulk for a snug feel that moves with the face.

• CloudFlex cushioning reduces pressure around the eyes for extended wear.
• Silicone components add pliability and a secure seal.
• Low-volume design limits internal space to reduce drag and leakage.

What vision advantages do the wide mirrored lenses provide?

Wide mirrored lenses extend peripheral visibility so you can monitor lanes and competitors without turning your head. The mirrored finish lessens glare in bright pool or outdoor conditions while preserving a clear central view for starts and turns.

• Expanded lateral sightlines for improved spatial awareness.
• Mirror coating reduces reflective glare in high-light settings.
• Durable polycarbonate resists impact and maintains optical clarity.

Can these goggles be adjusted for different faces and preferences?

Yes — the Air Sonic includes an interchangeable nose bridge system and a dual strap setup for personal tuning. Swimmers can swap nose pieces to fine-tune fit across different facial widths and use the split strap to lock the goggles comfortably in place.

• Interchangeable nose bridges accommodate small-fit and varied face shapes.
• Dual strap offers stable positioning and simple tension control.
• Small-fit profile designed for narrower faces or junior competitors.

Are these goggles race-legal and durable for frequent use?

Designed with competition in mind, ARENA Air Sonic goggles meet World Aquatics (FINA) approval standards, making them suitable for sanctioned meets. Their material mix balances rigid lens protection with flexible seals to withstand repeated use and chlorine exposure.

• World Aquatics (FINA) approved for competitive events.
• Lens material: 50% polycarbonate for strength and clarity.
• Seals and fittings made from thermoplastic elastomer and silicone for resilience.

Who is this for? The ARENA Air Sonic is aimed at competitive swimmers and serious training athletes who need a compact, low-drag goggle with wide peripheral vision and a pressure-relieving seal. It’s a strong option for swimmers with narrower faces, juniors stepping into race gear, and anyone who prefers mirrored lenses for bright conditions. If you value a lightweight, adjustable swim goggle that balances performance with comfort, the Air Sonic is designed to meet those needs.
