Atphfety Kids Bike Helmet Size Small (50–54 cm) — Toddler lightweight, vented with rear adjuster

Atphfety Kids Bike Helmet in Size Small is a lightweight, vented toddler helmet with an adjustable fit and dual-thickness pads to protect and keep young riders comfortable.

Designed for children aged roughly 5–8 years, this Atphfety helmet combines a durable polycarbonate (PC) outer shell with energy-absorbing EPS foam to reduce the force of impacts. Fourteen vents and removable mesh-front padding help manage heat and sweat, while the simple rear adjuster and two strap points create a secure, custom fit. It meets U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission standards for bicycle helmets for ages five and older and works across multiple wheeled activities.

How does this helmet protect my child during everyday rides?

The helmet’s hard PC shell spreads impact across a wider surface while high-quality EPS foam cushions and absorbs shock underneath. Together they form a two-layer defense that helps reduce transmitted forces in a fall. The shape and coverage are tuned for kids’ head proportions to keep critical areas protected.

• Sturdy polycarbonate outer shell for impact dispersion
• High-density EPS foam liner for shock absorption
• Child-appropriate shell shape with good forehead and temple coverage

Will this helmet stay comfortable and cool on a long ride?

Yes—fourteen ventilation channels promote airflow to help keep the head cooler while riding. The helmet is intentionally lightweight so children notice less strain on their necks, and the removable front mesh pad reduces sweat build-up and chafing. Two pad thickness options let you fine-tune interior spacing for comfort as your child grows.

• 14 vents for active airflow and cooling
• Two removable pads (5mm and 8mm) for custom fit
• Mesh-front pad reduces sweat and improves comfort

How do I know I’m choosing the correct size and fit?

Measure head circumference just above the eyebrows to match the size chart: Size S fits 50–54 cm (19.7–21.2 inches), ideal for many 5–8 year olds. The rear adjustable regulator and adjustable chin straps let you fine-tune tension for a snug, stable fit. Always ensure the helmet sits level and the straps form a V under each ear.

• Measure above the eyebrows for accurate sizing
• Rear dial adjuster for incremental fit changes
• Adjustable chin strap keeps helmet stable in motion

Can this helmet be used for activities beyond casual biking?

The Atphfety small helmet is designed as multi-sport head protection suitable for cycling, skateboarding, inline skating, rollerblading and similar recreational wheeled sports. Its ventilated, lightweight build and safety certification make it a versatile option for many outdoor activities. However, check activity-specific rules or recommendations if the sport requires a specialized helmet design.

• Suitable for biking, skateboarding, and roller sports
• Lightweight design supports comfortable extended use
• Complies with U.S. safety standard for ages 5 and older
