BLACK DIAMOND Women's Momentum Climbing Harness Package — Desert Sage MD, adjustable comfort starter kit

This all-in-one bundle supplies the essentials new climbers need to begin climbing confidently. Built around BLACK DIAMOND's popular Momentum harness, the package balances comfort, adjustability, and gear organization so you can focus on movement rather than equipment. The Desert Sage colorway and curated accessories make it a single purchase solution for top-rope gym sessions, sport leads, or introductory outdoor climbs.

How does the harness fit a woman’s body?

The Momentum for women is shaped to follow a typical female silhouette with a contoured waistbelt and leg loops that distribute weight evenly. Dual Core Construction gives supportive padding without excessive bulk, so you remain comfortable during long belays or extended hangs.

• Contoured waistbelt and leg loops for balanced support
• Dual Core Construction: cushioned yet lightweight
• Pre-threaded Speed Adjust buckle for quick waist sizing
• trakFIT adjustable leg loops to lock in a custom fit

What tools come with the package and how do they perform?

This kit pairs the harness with an ATC-XP belay/rappel device, a RockLock screwgate carabiner, a Mojo chalk bag, and BD White Gold chalk—each chosen for reliability and everyday use. The belay device handles both single- and double-rope techniques smoothly, while the screwgate carabiner secures connections during belay and anchor setups.

• ATC-XP: versatile belay/rappel device with predictable rope control
• RockLock screwgate: locking carabiner for secure attachments
• Mojo chalk bag: easy access to chalk during climbs
• BD White Gold chalk: keeps hands drier for better grip

How easy is it to adjust and organize gear on this harness?

The Momentum’s pre-threaded Speed Adjust waist buckle and trakFIT leg loops let you dial in a snug fit quickly—helpful for switching between climbers or layering clothing. Four pressure-molded gear loops plus a haul loop make it simple to arrange quickdraws, devices, and accessories without interference.

• Speed Adjust waist buckle for fast, repeatable tightening
• trakFIT leg loops allow secure micro-adjustments
• Four molded gear loops for tidy equipment layout
• Rear haul loop for racking or attaching a pack strap

Is this kit suitable for outdoor climbing as well as gym use?

Yes—the package is designed for both indoor training and entry-level outdoor routes. Materials and components are durable enough for repeated gym sessions while offering the functionality needed for sport climbs and accessible crags.

• Durable harness construction holds up to frequent use
• Included hardware rated for belaying and rappelling tasks
• Chalk and bag keep grip consistent across settings
• Compact kit reduces the need to buy separate items
