Body Glove Paddle Pals Learn-to-Swim Life Vest, Dinosaur 15–24.9 kg — USCG-approved, Anti-ride-up

Body Glove Paddle Pals Learn to Swim Life Vest is a USCG-approved, secure swim vest for 33–55 lb children designed to build confidence and keep kids comfortable during supervised water play. The Paddle Pals vest blends proven flotation, a child-friendly dinosaur print, and anti-ride-up safety features to make pool days, lake outings, and beach trips more relaxed for parents and more fun for kids. Built by Body Glove—an aquatic brand with roots back to 1953—this vest is optimized for early swimmers aged roughly 2–6 who need supervised flotation while learning to move confidently in the water.

How does this vest keep a child from slipping out or sliding up?

The design includes a patented shoulder harness and a three-point back buckle that work together to resist upward movement and accidental removal. Rather than relying on a single strap, the vest’s multi-panel geometry and polyester shell distribute buoyancy and hold the garment in place during motion.

• Patented shoulder harness prevents vest from riding up on the shoulders.
• Adjustable 3-point back buckle adds a secure closure and discourages self-removal.
• Multi-panel fit reduces gaps and improves stability while swimming.

Is this life vest approved and suitable for supervised swimming lessons?

Yes—this is a USCG-approved Level 70 (Type V/III) swim vest intended for supervised pool and shallow-water use. It provides reliable flotation for children within the specified weight range while allowing freedom of movement for kicking and arm strokes used in swim lessons.

• US Coast Guard approved for 33–55 lbs (approximately ages 2–6).
• Designed for pools, lakes, beaches and general boating under supervision.
• Lightweight panels enable active movement needed for swim practice.

What features make it comfortable for long play sessions?

The Paddle Pals vest uses soft, chafe-resistant panels and a lightweight build so children can play without irritation. The polyester outer fabric and ergonomic cut reduce rubbing and let kids stay in the water longer without discomfort.

• Soft multi-panel construction minimizes chafing during long wear.
• Lightweight flotation panels keep the vest from feeling bulky.
• Kid-friendly graphics make wearing it more appealing for children.

How do the colors and graphics help kids accept wearing it?

Bright, playful dinosaur artwork turns safety gear into something kids want to wear, which helps parents avoid struggles at poolside. The visual appeal increases compliance during lessons and family outings, making safety routines smoother.

• Fun dinosaur motif attracts young swimmers and eases transitions into water time.
• Available in kid-focused colors that pair well with swimwear.
• Design encourages positive associations with wearing flotation gear.
