boruizhen Aluminium Bike Pedals 9/16" Thread Lightweight Dual-Sided Platform with 16 Anti-Slip Pins

boruizhen Aluminium Bike Pedals are lightweight, double-sided platform pedals with 16 anti-skid pins per side, designed to deliver a secure, comfortable ride for mountain, road, BMX, and city bikes.

These 9/16" threaded aluminium pedals combine a wide platform, wear-resistant alloy construction, and an ultra-grippy surface so you can pedal confidently on mixed terrain. Weighing about 410 g per pair and sized at 81 × 91 × 20 mm, they balance stability with low weight for longer rides without unnecessary bulk. The robust build and universal thread make them a straightforward upgrade for most flat-pedal bikes.

How do these pedals improve grip and control?

The surface uses double-sided rows of 16 anti-skid pins that bite into shoe soles to reduce slipping during climbs, descents, and technical sections. The large platform distributes pressure across the foot for steadier control and less fatigue.

• Double-sided 16 anti-slip pins per side for consistent traction
• Generous platform area (81 × 91 mm) for better foot support
• Raised edge profile helps keep feet aligned under load

Are these pedals durable and easy to maintain?

Made from high-strength aluminium alloy, the pedals resist wear from repeated use and are suitable for off-road conditions. Bearings and axle construction are designed for regular cycling use; simple cleaning and periodic lubrication keep them spinning smoothly.

• High-strength aluminium alloy body for wear resistance
• Sealed or serviceable bearings depending on model variant
• Simple cleaning with water and degreaser; grease axle during service

Will they fit my bike and how hard is installation?

These pedals use the standard 9/16" screw thread, compatible with the vast majority of adult bikes including mountain, road, BMX, folding, and city bikes. Installation is straightforward with a pedal wrench or 15 mm spanner; remember the left pedal is reverse-threaded.

• Standard 9/16" thread fits most adult crank arms
• Install with a 15 mm spanner or pedal wrench; left pedal reverse-threaded
• 81 × 91 × 20 mm platform fits most shoe sizes and cycling styles

How do these pedals affect ride weight and performance?

At approximately 410 g per pair, they offer a lightweight platform alternative to heavier steel or oversized composites, improving acceleration without sacrificing durability. The combination of low mass and a broad contact area yields efficient power transfer and better ride feel.

• About 410 g per pair—lighter than many steel-platform pedals
• Large platform supports efficient power delivery and stability
• Good balance of weight, grip, and durability for varied riding

Who is this for? Cyclists seeking an affordable, reliable platform pedal with strong traction and a roomy contact area will benefit most. Ideal for mountain bikers who want extra grip, commuters and city riders who prefer flats, BMX riders needing a sturdy platform, and anyone replacing worn factory pedals. If you want a durable, lightweight upgrade compatible with most bikes and easy to maintain, the boruizhen Aluminium Bike Pedals are a practical choice.
