EAGLES Hockey Tape 1in Cloth Roll — Non-Reflective, Hand-Tearable Protection for Blades & Grip

EAGLES Hockey Tape is a durable, non-reflective woven cloth tape roll designed to protect hockey blades, improve grip, and serve as a versatile sports and utility tape.

Engineered for players and gear technicians, this 1-inch-wide cloth tape tears by hand for quick, custom widths and sticks to a wide range of surfaces without leaving sticky residue. It works on modern composite and traditional wooden hockey sticks, and doubles as an all-purpose cloth adhesive for athletic support, cable management, staging, and hobby projects. The water- and abrasion-resistant construction helps the tape resist snow and ice build-up while extending the life of blades and adding tactile control.

How does this tape protect my hockey stick blade?

The woven cotton fabric forms a protective layer over the blade edge and face, absorbing abrasion and reducing direct impact on the material beneath. That protection lowers the chance of chips or premature wear and can preserve blade shape longer.

• Wraps securely around composite, wood, or fiberglass blades
• Prevents edge chipping and surface scuffs from contact
• Resists snow and ice adhesion for consistent puck feel
• Hand-tearable for precise coverage and minimal waste

Can I use this tape for grip and on other sports gear?

Yes — the tape adds friction to handles, shafts, and equipment, improving control and comfort. Players often wrap handles or create thumb and finger sleeves; the fabric adheres well while remaining non-reflective and comfortable to touch.

• Improves stick and bat grip without sticky residue
• Creates custom thumb or finger protection for golfers and athletes
• Adheres to socks, pads, and protective gear for extra support
• Flexible enough to conform to curved surfaces

Will this tape leave adhesive residue or require tools to apply?

The tape uses a strong, clean-peel adhesive formulated to minimize residue on most smooth surfaces, so it’s easy to replace or remove. Because the cloth is flexible and designed to tear by hand, you usually won’t need scissors or extra tools during application.

• Hand-tearable for quick, tool-free application
• Strong bond to metal, plastic, rubber, glass, and fabric
• Engineered to peel off cleanly from many surfaces
• Water-resistant adhesive suitable for cold, wet conditions

How else can this tape be useful beyond hockey?

Beyond stick work, the tape functions like a non-reflective gaffer-style cloth tape for many on- and off-field needs. It’s handy for stage setups, cable management, instrument cases, and quick repairs where a durable, low-glare fabric tape is preferred.

• Use for wire bundling and securing stage cables or displays
• Masking or securing parts in photography or live events without shine
• Temporary fixes on gear, automotive trims, or outdoor equipment
• Sports taping for trainers who need breathable, strong adhesive
