Easton MAV1 Flash USA Youth Baseball Bat — 28" -11 Drop, 2 5/8" Barrel, One-Piece Alloy Balanced

The Easton MAV1 Flash USA is a one-piece alloy baseball bat built for balanced swing speed, consistent barrel performance, and USA Baseball play at 28 inches with a -11 drop.

The MAV1 Flash combines Easton’s FlashPoint Alloy and new WaveWall barrel architecture in a sleek one-piece design. Engineered to be game-ready from the box, this bat targets youth players and developing hitters who want a responsive feel, uniform sweet spot performance, and a lightweight, balanced swing. It’s USA Baseball certified, sized for competitive youth leagues, and finished with a bold look to match modern field style.

How does FlashPoint Alloy affect hitting right away?

FlashPoint Alloy is formulated to provide optimized swing speed and lively response from the first hit, so players don’t need a prolonged break-in. The material balances stiffness and spring to deliver consistent feel contact after contact.

• Game-ready out of the wrapper—minimal break-in required
• Engineered for improved swing speed with the same effort
• Durable alloy meant for regular youth play

What does WaveWall barrel technology do for performance?

WaveWall is a redesigned barrel geometry that spreads effective performance across more of the hitting surface, reducing dead spots and producing more predictable results on off-center hits. It creates a uniform response so you feel confidence across the barrel instead of relying on a single sweet spot.

• Consistent pop across the barrel surface
• Fewer dead zones on mishits for steadier contact
• Improved feel on a variety of pitch locations

Why choose a one-piece balanced construction?

The MAV1 Flash uses a one-piece alloy build to prioritize control, direct energy transfer, and a balanced swing weight. That structure helps players maintain bat speed through the zone and experience a solid, connected sensation at contact.

• Balanced swing weight for quicker hands and control
• Direct feel from handle to barrel—reliable feedback on contact
• Designed for consistent mechanics and smoother swing paths

Is this bat appropriate for league play and which players should consider it?

This model is USA Baseball certified, making it eligible for most youth leagues that require that approval. The 28-inch length with a -11 drop and a 2 5/8" barrel suits intermediate youth players moving toward higher-level competition who favor speed and bat control over a heavier end load.

• USA Baseball certified for approved youth competition
• 28" length and -11 drop ideal for intermediate youth sizes
• 2 5/8" barrel balances forgiveness and weight control

Who is this for: The Easton MAV1 Flash USA is aimed at youth ballplayers seeking a modern, dependable one-piece alloy bat that’s ready from day one. If you’re a developing hitter who values quick bat speed, consistent barrel performance, and a balanced feel for improved swing mechanics, this bat is designed to meet those needs while staying within USA Baseball rules.
