Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guard skate blade covers — Blue SR/XL with VCI corrosion protection & rubber sole

Keep your skate blades safe between the ice and the locker room with the Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guard in blue, size Senior/Extra Large. Designed for convenience and lasting protection, these blade covers combine a water-repellent outer fabric, VCI-treated inner lining to inhibit corrosion, and a rubber traction strip on the sole so you can walk confidently off the ice. The pair fits snugly over senior-size skate blades and uses molded foam to hold the blade in place without compressing the edge.

How do these guards stop blades from rusting and corroding?

The inner lining is impregnated with VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) treatment that helps protect steel edges from oxidation when moisture is present. That chemical barrier reduces the chance of surface rust while the water-resistant outer polyester keeps wetness away from the lining, extending the blade’s condition between uses.

• VCI-treated soft inner lining to limit corrosion
• Water-resistant polyester outer layer to repel moisture
• Snug fit and inner molded foam to reduce air exposure

Will these covers stay on and let me walk safely in the rink area?

Yes — the Pro-Skate Guard uses molded foam to secure the blade inside the cover and a rubber traction strip on the bottom for grip when walking on smooth surfaces. The rubberized sole reduces slipping, and the snug profile keeps the covers from sliding off during short walks to the boards or locker room.

• Inner molded foam centers the blade for a stable fit
• Rubber traction strip for steady, non-slip steps
• Contoured shape prevents shifting while walking

How do these guards protect other gear in my bag?

The outer material and padded interior act as a buffer between sharp edges and your equipment, preventing scratches and punctures to gloves, jerseys, or protective gear. Because the blade is covered fully and held in place, it won’t scrape or gouge the bag lining when you toss your skates inside.

• Soft inner fabric prevents direct metal-to-fabric contact
• Durable webbing shields bags from nicks and cuts
• Full-coverage design keeps edges isolated from other items

How do I choose the right size and maintain these skate guards?

Measure your skate blade length or check your skate size: the Senior/XL fits roughly Men’s size 10–13. After use, air-dry the covers to prevent trapped moisture and occasionally wipe the rubber sole clean to preserve traction. Avoid machine-washing to maintain the VCI treatment and foam shape.

• Senior/X-Large recommended for sizes approximately 10–13
• Air-dry after use; do not machine-wash to protect VCI treatment
• Wipe rubber strip and exterior with a damp cloth as needed

Who this is for: The Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guard (Blue, SR/XL) is ideal for adult and senior-level skaters who transport gear frequently, coaches and players who need reliable blade protection in bags, and anyone who wants a combination of corrosion resistance and safe walking traction. If you value keeping blade edges rust-free and your equipment scratch-free while retaining the ability to walk off the ice safely, these covers offer practical, durable protection in a convenient pair.
