Everlast Powerlock 2 boxing gloves — 12oz white training gloves with quad-layer padding and wrist support

Everlast Powerlock 2 Hook Loop Boxing Gloves (12oz, white) are ventilated, quad-layer padded training gloves with a secure turnback strap designed for heavy bag work, mitt drills, and everyday practice.

These Everlast gloves combine layered impact foam, a reinforced grip bar, and a modernized Powerlock closure to deliver steady wrist support and consistent hand positioning during extended sessions. Built from robust synthetic leather and finished with a mesh palm and soft internal lining, they’re intended for athletes who want a dependable pair of bag and training gloves that balance protection, breathability, and durability.

How do these gloves protect my hands during heavy bag training?

The Powerlock 2 uses four layers of foam to dissipate force across a broader surface, reducing concentrated shock on knuckles and wrists. The secured thumb and grip bar keep the hand aligned, helping minimize awkward impacts and strain across repeated strikes.

• Quad-layer padding disperses impact for safer striking.
• Secured thumb reduces risk of bending or misalignment.
• Grip bar encourages a compact, efficient fist for controlled punches.

Will the wrist support be tight enough for pad work and combos?

The redesigned Powerlock turnback strap wraps firmly around the wrist to limit movement without feeling constrictive, making transitions between bag rounds and mitt work more stable. The hook-and-loop closure is quick to adjust and keeps the wrist secure through dynamic combinations.

• Turnback strap locks the wrist in place for better technique.
• Hook-and-loop fastening allows fast, repeatable adjustments.
• Supportive fit reduces excessive wrist bending during punches.

How comfortable and breathable are these gloves during long sessions?

Comfort features include a full mesh palm to promote airflow and a polyester foam lining for a soft interior feel. Together, they help control heat and moisture, reducing skin irritation and improving comfort during longer training sessions.

• Mesh palm increases ventilation to keep hands cooler.
• Polyester foam lining provides cushioned comfort inside the glove.
• Durable synthetic leather withstands frequent use while staying easy to clean.

Are these gloves suitable for beginners and experienced boxers alike?

Yes—the Powerlock 2 is built to suit a wide range of athletes, from newcomers learning technique to seasoned trainees logging heavy bag miles. Their combination of protection, wrist stability, and durable materials makes them a practical daily training glove for diverse drills.

• Balanced padding for beginners learning form and pros refining power.
• Sturdy construction tolerates regular training sessions.
• 12oz weight offers a versatile option for bag work and mitt rounds.

Who is this for: Athletes looking for a reliably constructed training glove that prioritizes wrist support, consistent hand alignment, and ventilation. These Everlast Powerlock 2 gloves are ideal for recreational boxers, fitness enthusiasts, and competitive fighters who need a durable pair of 12oz bag gloves for daily pad work, heavy bag sessions, and general boxing training.
