Favofit 25 kN Heavy Duty Climbing Carabiner — Large Auto-Locking 7075 Aluminium, Keylock Nose

Favofit’s 25kN heavy duty carabiner is a large, UIAA-certified auto-locking clip forged from 7075 aircraft aluminum for maximum strength with minimal weight.

Built for demanding vertical work and serious outdoor users, this carabiner pairs a 5620 lb (25 kN) rated strength with a smooth keylock nose and instant auto-twist locking for secure, one-handed operation. At just 2.1 oz it gives an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio suitable for climbing, rigging, tactical tasks, and heavy anchor duties where reliability matters. The large gate opening accommodates multiple slings or thicker ropes while the anti-hook profile reduces snagging during transitions.

How does this carabiner keep me safe during climbs and rigging?

The Favofit carabiner meets UIAA standards and is proof-tested to provide consistent load-bearing reliability under normal use. Its auto-twist locking mechanism engages automatically when released, eliminating guesswork about whether the gate is secured. The forged 7075 aluminum construction resists deformation under extreme loads, so the carabiner maintains strength in demanding conditions.

• UIAA-certified strength testing for reliable performance
• Auto-twist lock that secures instantly upon release
• 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum resists bending and reduces weight
• Rated 25 kN (5620 lbs) for high-load applications

What makes the gate and nose design better for real-world use?

The large gate opening accepts multiple connectors or bulky slings without fiddling, and the keylock anti-hook nose prevents catches on webbing and ropes. This smoother entry and exit reduce wear on rope and gear, while the snag-free profile speeds transitions like clipping, unclipping, and equipment swaps.

• Wide gate for easy clipping of carabiners, slings, or harnesses
• Keylock nose that avoids accidental catches and abrasion
• Polished gate surface for predictable rope movement
• Designed for minimal friction during rappels and hauling

Can I operate it while wearing gloves or when I’m suspended?

Yes — the auto-lock engages with a natural twisting motion and is sized for one-handed use, making it practical when you’re hanging, on a ladder, or wearing winter or work gloves. The mechanism was engineered for quick, intuitive action so you can secure connections without changing grip or position.

• One-handed auto-twist locking for use when suspended
• Large body profile for positive handling with gloves
• Reliable lock action reduces fumbling in stressful moments
• Suitable for tree work, saddle hunting, and rigging tasks

Is this carabiner useful beyond climbing applications?

Absolutely — its high strength rating and robust locking make it a versatile heavy-duty anchor for many non-climbing uses. From securing large dogs and suspending gym equipment to building campsite anchors, the Favofit carabiner functions as a dependable connector where safety and load capacity matter.

• Rated anchor for hanging heavy bags and gym equipment
• Stable attachment point for outdoor hammocks and tarps
• Durable enough for everyday use around the workshop or yard
• Works for pet tethering when a strong, locked connector is needed

Who is this for? The Favofit 25kN heavy duty carabiner is aimed at climbers, arborists, riggers, hunters, and anyone who needs a compact, ultra-strong connector with proven safety credentials. Choose it if you want a lightweight yet large-capacity auto-locking clip that performs smoothly with gloves, resists snagging, and meets UIAA standards for demanding vertical work and heavy-anchor tasks.
