Favoto Mountain Bike Helmet for Adults, Black M (55–58 cm) — Lightweight 335g, Magnetic Buckle

Favoto's Mountain Bike Helmet for adults in black (size M, 55–58 cm) is a lightweight, safety-first trail helmet featuring dual-shell construction, a magnetic one-hand buckle, and rear eyewear retention.

This helmet combines engineered protection with rider-focused convenience. Built with a dual-shell PC structure and 20mm high-density EPS foam, the Favoto M helmet balances impact absorption and low mass at just 335 g (11.8 oz). Practical touches such as the magnetic buckle and rear elastic cord for sunglasses make it well suited to trail riding, commuting, and long days in the saddle.

How does the dual-shell construction improve protection?

The Favoto dual-shell integrated molding uses two layers of polycarbonate designed to disperse impact forces more effectively than single-shell helmets. Independent testing shows the structure delivers higher resistance to penetration and energy transfer, helping reduce force to the head in common mountain-bike impacts.

• Patented dual-layer PC outer shells for staged energy dispersion
• 20mm high-density EPS foam core for controlled deceleration
• Engineered seams and integrated molding to reduce structural weak points

Is the magnetic buckle safe and easy to use on the trail?

The innovative magnetic buckle locks securely with one hand and releases with a deliberate pull, simplifying stops, remounts, and gear adjustments. It’s designed to be operable while wearing gloves and resists accidental opening under normal riding loads.

• One-handed magnetic lock for quick fastening
• Glove-friendly operation tested in real-world cycling scenarios
• Solid release mechanism to avoid unintended opening

Will this helmet stay comfortable on long rides and varying terrain?

Weighing about 335 g, the Favoto helmet minimizes neck fatigue on extended outings while the interior EPS and fit system maintain stable positioning. Ventilation and padding provide airflow and comfort across moderate- to high-intensity rides.

• Ultra-light 335 g (11.8 oz) construction for reduced fatigue
• 20mm EPS foam for cushioned yet compact protection
• Adjustable fit system for consistent, secure positioning

How does the glasses retention and practical design help everyday riders?

Favoto integrated a rear elastic cord to secure sunglasses when not worn, keeping lenses safe and accessible on variable-light trails and commutes. The helmet’s profile and finish also pair cleanly with other bike gear for a cohesive look.

• Rear glasses elastic cord prevents lost sunglasses
• Sleek black finish coordinates with most cycling kits and packs
• Compatibility with standard eyewear and many helmet accessories

Who is this for? The Favoto Mountain Bike Helmet in size M (55–58 cm) is aimed at adult trail riders and daily commuters who want a balance of enhanced impact resistance, low weight, and user-friendly features. It suits riders who prioritize safety upgrades like dual-shell construction without sacrificing comfort, and anyone who appreciates the convenience of a magnetic buckle and eyewear retention when switching between sunny open climbs and shaded singletrack.
