Franklin Sports Fastpitch Softball Glove Pro Series Youth Left-Hand Throw – Lightweight, Quick Break-In

The Franklin Sports Fastpitch Pro Series Softball Glove is a lightweight, youth-focused fastpitch glove built for quick break-in, a narrow wrist fit, and responsive fielding performance.

Designed for young fastpitch players who need speed, feel, and a comfortable fit, this glove combines technical mesh materials with a soft pocket and an adjustable wrist strap. It aims to shorten the break-in period while keeping the mitt light so players can get the ball into and out of their hands faster. The narrower wrist opening and customizable closure make it especially suited to the hand shapes and motion patterns common in girls’ and youth fastpitch play.

How does this glove help with quick fielding and ball control?

The glove’s soft pocket material and lightweight construction let fielders secure the ball with less fumbling and faster transfer. The design promotes quick hands out of the glove for throws and plays that demand speed.

• Soft palm material for an easier, faster break-in.
• Responsive pocket for improved ball feel and control.
• Mesh panels to reduce weight and increase hand speed.

Is the fit adjustable for different youth players?

Yes. The glove includes an adjustable wrist strap and a narrower wrist opening engineered for youth fastpitch hands, so players can achieve a snug, secure fit without sacrificing mobility. This helps reduce slippage and improves confidence when catching high-velocity pitches and throws.

• Adjustable wrist closure customizes tightness instantly.
• Narrower wrist opening tailored to youth fastpitch anatomy.
• Stable fit minimizes in-play shifting and distraction.

What materials and construction make this glove perform?

Constructed from lightweight technical mesh and a soft pocket material, the glove balances durability with low weight. The mesh reduces overall bulk while preserving structure, and the palm material breaks in quickly so the glove reaches game-ready feel with less effort.

• Technical mesh for lightness and breathability.
• Soft pocket material for rapid break-in and responsive catching.
• Reinforced stitching at stress points for lasting use.

Which throwing hand options are available and how do I choose?

The glove is offered in left-hand throw and right-hand throw configurations. Choose the version that corresponds to the hand you throw with: Left Hand Throw means you wear the glove on the right hand to throw with your left, and vice versa.

• Left Hand Throw = glove on right hand, throw with left.
• Right Hand Throw = glove on left hand, throw with right.
• Select based on which hand you use to throw, not catch.
