Franklin Sports Signature Series Pro Pickleball Paddle Lilac, MaxGrit Surface & 16mm Core (USAPA Approved)

The Franklin Sports Signature Series Pro Pickleball Paddle is a tournament-ready, USAPA-approved paddle featuring a textured MaxGrit surface, a 16mm polypropylene core, and an oversized sweet spot for added spin and control.

Built for players who demand reliable performance, this Signature Series paddle combines a roughened fiberglass face with a resilient polypropylene honeycomb core to create a balanced blend of power, touch, and reduced vibration. The lilac finish gives the paddle a modern look while the construction meets USA Pickleball (USAPA) standards, so it’s legal for sanctioned play. Dimensions and weight are tuned to provide predictable handling and a comfortable grip through long matches.

How does the MaxGrit surface affect my shots?

The MaxGrit textured surface increases friction between paddle and ball, which helps impart more spin and gives greater bite on serves and dinks without harsh feedback. The texture also helps stabilize the ball on contact so you can place shots with higher precision.

• Roughened fiberglass face for improved spin generation
• Reduced ball slip on contact for steadier dinks and volleys
• Surface material approved by USAPA for tournament use

What feel and control can I expect from the 16mm polypropylene core?

The 16mm polypropylene core strikes a middle ground between power and soft touch. It absorbs unwanted vibration for cleaner feedback while still returning energy to the ball, producing consistent depth and pace across volleys and groundstrokes.

• 16mm core for balanced responsiveness and damping
• Oversized sweet spot created by the fiberglass layer
• Weight range (7.9–8.3 oz) for stable, controlled swings

Is this paddle legal for competitive play and what are the dimensions?

Yes — the Signature Series Pro is certified by USA Pickleball (USAPA) for sanctioned tournaments. The paddle is sized to offer generous face area while remaining within official limits, giving players more margin for clean contact during rallies.

• Paddle face: 16.5" x 7.5" for added hitting surface
• Handle length: 5.6" with a 4.5" circumference for secure grip
• USAPA approved for tournament and competitive matches

How does the paddle perform in real play situations?

On court, you’ll notice easier spin production, controlled power on drives, and muted vibrations on mishits. The fiberglass face and polypropylene core work together to make volleys more consistent, serves more dynamic, and soft shots more touch-sensitive.

• Improved spin for tactical serving and third-shot opportunities
• Large sweet spot for fewer mishits and more reliable returns
• Balanced weight for quick reaction at the net and stable baseline shots
