Franklin Sports Venom 1000 tee-ball bat 26"/14 oz – USA Baseball certified, extra-light aluminum

The Franklin Sports Venom 1000 is a USA Baseball–certified, extra-light 26"/14 oz teeball bat built from aluminum to give young hitters balanced control and reliable pop with soft-core teeballs.

Designed for first-time hitters and tee-ball practice, the Venom 1000 combines a 2 1/4" aluminum alloy barrel with an evenly distributed weight profile so kids can learn proper swing mechanics while feeling consistent feedback on contact. This model meets USA Baseball and Little League requirements for use with soft-core (-10 and -11) teeballs and carries the required USA Baseball logo, but it is not intended for regulation weight baseballs.

How does the Venom 1000 help a child learn to hit?

The bat’s lightweight construction and balanced design make it easier for young players to develop bat speed and maintain a level swing through the hitting zone. Because the barrel gives a clear response on contact, kids can quickly learn which swings connect and which need adjustment.

• 26" length and 14 oz weight for manageable swing mechanics
• Balanced weight distribution encourages level swings
• 2 1/4" aluminum alloy barrel for consistent feel and feedback
• Extra-light build promotes improved bat speed

Is this bat legal for teeball leagues and what balls should I use?

The Venom 1000 is USA Baseball certified specifically for teeball and complies with Little League rules for bats used with soft-core teeballs. It is approved for use with -10 and -11 weight soft-core balls and displays the USA Baseball logo required by many programs.

• USA Baseball certified and Little League–approved for teeball
• Made for soft-core (-10 and -11) teeballs only
• Not suitable for regulation weight or official hard baseballs
• Complies with common youth league bat marking requirements

What are the key construction and size details to know?

Built from aluminum alloy, the Venom 1000 features a 2 1/4" barrel diameter and a drop weight of -12 (26" length, 14 oz). Those dimensions give young players a large hitting surface and a light feel to promote swing control.

• 26 inches long with a 14-ounce weight (drop -12)
• 2 1/4" aluminum alloy barrel for durability and pop
• Standard tee-ball grip for secure handling and comfort
• Lightweight frame helps reduce fatigue during practice

How should I maintain and use the bat for best performance?

Use the Venom 1000 exclusively with soft-core teeballs and avoid striking hard, regulation baseballs or other non-approved balls. Wipe it clean after play, store indoors at moderate temperatures, and inspect for dents or bends to keep performance consistent.

• Only use soft-core (-10/-11) teeballs with this bat
• Store inside away from extreme heat or cold
• Clean grips and barrel with a soft cloth after sessions
• Check for damage before each season to ensure safety
