GEAR AID HEROCLIP Medium 360° Swivel Carabiner Clip — 27.2 kg Capacity, Rubber-Tipped Hook

The HEROCLIP Medium brings together a wide-gate carabiner, a 360° swivel gear clip and a rubber-tipped hook in one lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum tool. Designed to handle larger, awkward items that won't fit standard clips, this size is ideal for backpacks, duffles, shopping bags, buckets and more. It keeps gear off the ground, out of the way, and easy to access whether you're camping, traveling, working around the house, or running errands.

How does the HEROCLIP help when you're camping or hiking?

The Medium HEROCLIP lets you hang packs, lanterns, water jugs and kitchen supplies from branches, tree limbs, or campsite anchors so items stay dry and organized. Its 360° swivel prevents tangles and helps you position gear exactly where you need it.

• Wide carabiner gate accommodates straps, straps with buckles, and bundled items.
• Rubber-tipped hook secures bags to picnic tables and flat surfaces without slipping.
• Holds up to 60 lbs—suitable for heavy cookware, lanterns, and full packs.
• Folds flat for compact packing in a pocket or kit.

Can this replace a standard carabiner for everyday use?

Yes—HEROCLIP Medium acts like a carabiner plus more. It offers the convenience of a wide-gate carabiner while adding a rotating clip and hook for tasks ordinary carabiners can't manage.

• Wide gate fits bundles, cords, and multiple bag handles at once.
• Swivel rotation stops strap twists when hanging gear on stroller or hooks.
• Durable aluminum body stays light for EDC without sacrificing strength.

Is the HEROCLIP durable and safe for heavy items?

The Medium model is built from aircraft-grade aluminum and rated to hold up to 60 lbs—strong enough for most luggage, buckets, and heavy gear around campsites or job sites. It is not a climbing-rated carabiner and should not be used for life-safety applications.

• Aluminum construction balances weight and robustness for everyday use.
• Secure spring gate and locking geometry keep items from slipping out.
• Rubber hook tip protects surfaces and reduces sliding on flat edges.

How does the HEROCLIP fold and carry when not in use?

The clip and hook collapse together into a compact shape that clips onto packs, belts or keychains for convenient carry. Its slim profile and light weight make it simple to stash anywhere without bulk.

• Folds flat to clip onto backpack webbing or luggage handles.
• Light enough for everyday carry and travel kits.
• Quick-release gate makes it fast to deploy and store.

Who is this for: The HEROCLIP Medium is for travelers, campers, parents, DIYers and anyone who needs a tougher-than-standard clip to hang and organize bulky or multiple items. It suits people who want a compact, versatile hanging solution for backpacks, shopping bags, strollers, tools and campsite setups—but not for climbing or life-safety use.
