Giro Agilis MIPS Cycling Helmet — Matte Flame Red Large, Lightweight Ventilated Road Helmet with Roc Loc 5

The Giro Agilis MIPS helmet in Matte Flame Red is a lightweight, highly ventilated road helmet with integrated Mips and an adjustable Roc Loc 5 fit system for a secure, customizable fit.

The Agilis blends a tough in-mold Hardbody lower wrap with a streamlined shell and Giro’s Wind Tunnel ventilation to keep you cool on long rides, while the Integrated Mips system and Roc Loc 5 adjuster deliver added rotational protection and one-handed fit fine-tuning. This Large size suits adult riders who need a stable, performance-oriented helmet without extra bulk.

How does this helmet keep you cool during long rides?

Giro designed the Agilis around active airflow: front intake vents channel fresh air over the head and exhaust ports push warm air out, creating continuous circulation. The in-mold construction maintains ventilation pathways without sacrificing shell strength.

• Wind Tunnel ventilation with active front vents and internal exhaust channels
• Open airflow design that reduces trapped heat on sustained efforts
• In-mold shell that preserves vent geometry while keeping weight low

What makes the fit system easy and precise?

The Roc Loc 5 fit system lets you adjust tension and tilt with one hand, so you can fine-tune comfort while on the bike. It’s lightweight and sits low on the head for a secure, close-to-skull feel that minimizes movement during sprints and climbs.

• Single-hand tension control for fast, on-the-go adjustments
• Fore-aft tilt adjustment to position the helmet for visibility and comfort
• Low-profile cradle that stabilizes the helmet without extra bulk

How does Integrated Mips and the Hardbody shell affect safety and durability?

The Integrated Mips layer is built into the helmet to help manage rotational forces that can occur during angled impacts, while the Hardbody lower wrap is permanently fused to the EPS liner to resist chipping and extend service life. Together they deliver a durable, road-ready shell without unnecessary weight.

• Integrated Mips slip plane combined with the fit system for added rotational mitigation
• Two-piece Hardbody construction fused to EPS for impact resilience and durability
• Meets rigorous helmet standards with an emphasis on practical, on-bike protection

What practical features help everyday usability?

The Agilis balances performance details with commuter-friendly touches: its polished finish resists scuffs, the Large sizing covers typical adult head shapes, and the simple strap system stays out of the way while you ride. These small conveniences make it a reliable choice for frequent cycling.

• Matte Flame Red finish that’s visible and resists everyday wear
• Adjustable straps and low-profile buckles for comfortable retention
• Lightweight design that won’t weigh you down on long days
