Gonex 31.5in Wide Camping Cot — Lightweight Folding Portable Cot, 159 kg Capacity, Quick-Setup

Gonex 31" Wide Camping Cot is a lightweight, quick-setup folding bed that gives adults a roomy, stable sleep surface for camping, car trips, and backyard lounging.

Designed to balance strength, portability, and comfort, this Gonex cot pairs aerospace-grade aluminum framing with a wide 31.5-inch fabric surface and practical storage pockets. It packs light at 5.7 pounds, sets up in about a minute using a lever-lock system, and supports up to 350 pounds — making it a reliable sleep option for tent campers, car campers, and anyone who needs an elevated bed off the ground.

How strong and stable is the Gonex cot for regular outdoor use?

The frame uses 7075 aluminum tubing plus a dual-tube layout and arched square bottom bracket to resist wobble and distribute weight evenly. Those engineering choices create a durable platform that performs well on uneven ground and under frequent use.

• Aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum bars and legs for high strength-to-weight ratio
• Dual-tube design and arched square tube bracket for added rigidity
• Rated to hold up to 350 lbs when assembled correctly

What makes the sleeping surface comfortable for side sleepers?

At 31.5 inches wide, the Gonex cot gives extra room to change positions without falling off the edges. The fabric includes a Feather-Touch style pillow pocket that accepts a rolled towel or clothing to create head elevation—no separate pillow required.

• Generous 31.5" width suited for broader body types and side sleepers
• Feather-Touch pillow pocket for soft head support (pillow not included)
• Elevated design keeps you off damp or rocky ground for better rest

How quickly can I pack and set it up during a trip?

Gonex upgraded the assembly with a 5th-generation lever-locking system so the frame snaps into place in three straightforward steps. Most users can unfold and lock the cot in roughly 60 seconds, then collapse it back into the included carry bag for compact transport.

• Tool-free, three-step installation with lever-lock mechanism
• Sets up in about 60 seconds and folds to fit most trunks
• Includes a compact carrying bag for car camping or trail transport

What storage and convenience features does it offer while camping?

The cot has integrated side pockets and a tactical hanging system to keep essentials within reach so you don’t need to crawl around the tent at night. These practical additions make the cot a small living area organizer as well as a bed.

• Side pockets sized for phone, book, or water bottle
• Tactical hanging loops for headlamp, keys, or small gear
• Lightweight 5.7 lb overall weight for easy carrying and staging

Who is this for? The Gonex 31" Wide Camping Cot is best for adult campers who want a balance of portability and a wider sleep surface: side sleepers, car campers, festival-goers, and backyard hosts who need a quick elevated bed. It’s also useful for anyone who wants a sturdy, compact cot with organizational pockets and a fast setup — ideal when you want more comfort than a sleeping pad but less bulk than a full camp mattress.
