GORILLA GRIP Travel Camping Double Hammock - Green, 227 kg Capacity & Packable

GORILLA GRIP Travel Camping Hammock is a durable, double-size nylon hammock with heavy-duty straps and carabiners built to support up to 500 lbs for comfortable outdoor lounging and overnight camping.

This lightweight, packable hammock is designed for campers, hikers, backyard relaxers, and travelers who want a reliable hanging bed that sets up fast and won’t harm trees. Constructed from soft, breathable nylon with reinforced seams and supplied with 10-foot adjustable straps, it balances portability with high load capacity and easy installation. The hammock folds into an attached storage pocket for compact transport, making it suitable for day trips or multi-night treks.

How sturdy is the GORILLA GRIP hammock for two people or heavy gear?

The hammock is engineered to carry a single user up to 500 lbs, with steel carabiners rated to withstand around 1000 lbs pull force and heavy-duty webbing and seams that resist tearing. While sized as a double hammock (10' x 6.5'), its safe working load centers on one person plus gear rather than two full-size adults simultaneously.

• Rated comfort capacity: up to 500 lbs
• Steel carabiners with ~1000 lbs pull force
• Reinforced seams and heavy-duty straps
• 10 ft x 6.5 ft body offers roomy lie space

How do the straps and carabiners protect trees and simplify setup?

The included straps are 10 feet long and have 18 attachment loops each, so you can fine-tune hammock height without tying knots. The wide, tree-friendly webbing spreads load across bark to reduce pressure, and the steel carabiners clip quickly to the chosen loop for a secure hold.

• Two 10-foot straps with 18 sewn loops each for precise adjustments
• Wide webbing minimizes trunk compression and bark damage
• Two steel carabiners for fast clip-and-go installation
• No extra hardware or knots required—install in four simple steps

What comfort and convenience features does it offer for travel?

The nylon fabric is soft, breathable, and quick-drying, which keeps you comfortable in warm weather and resists dirt during outdoor use. The hammock folds into an integrated pocket that doubles as a storage pouch for the hammock itself and small items like sunglasses, headphones, or a phone while you relax.

• Soft, breathable nylon for comfortable lounging
• Dirt-resistant and fast-drying material for easy care
• Integrated stuff-pocket for compact packing and storage
• Weighs approximately 2.16 lbs—easy to carry with other gear

Can it fit different tree distances and campsite setups?

Yes—the pair of 10-foot straps combined with multiple attachment loops make it adaptable to a wide range of tree spacing and anchor heights. The long straps allow for shallow or steep hang angles depending on tree spacing and personal comfort preferences.

• Adjustable across varying distances between trees
• Multiple loops enable precise height and sag control
• Works equally well for backyard, park, or trail-side use
• Tree-friendly design avoids bark damage when correctly installed
