HANDBODE Hex Dumbbell Set 2.72 kg — Rubber-Encased Fixed Pair with Chrome Handles, Non-Rolling

HANDBODE Hex Dumbbell Set of 2 are fixed 6 lb rubber‑encased hex dumbbells built from solid cast iron for stable, non‑rolling strength training at home or in the gym.

These compact dumbbells combine a solid cast‑iron core with a virgin rubber coating and chrome handles to deliver a durable, floor‑friendly free weight option. The hexagonal heads stop the weights from rolling, while the ergonomic handle diameters are chosen for grip comfort across lighter and heavier models. They’re designed to support a wide range of upper‑, lower‑ and core‑focused exercises and to be easy to store and transport.

How durable is this 6 lb HANDBODE dumbbell pair?

The heads are cast from solid iron and encased in virgin rubber to resist cracking and fading while protecting floors and other equipment. The chrome‑plated handle adds corrosion resistance and a smooth finish for repeated use. Overall construction is aimed at long‑term home or commercial gym handling without unnecessary noise or damage.

• Solid cast‑iron core for structural strength
• Virgin rubber coating reduces impact and scuffing
• Chrome‑plated ergonomic handle for corrosion resistance
• Hex heads prevent rolling and minimize noise

What grip size and feel should I expect from the handles?

HANDBODE uses handle diameters based on weight ranges: lighter dumbbells (12 lb and under) have a 28 mm handle for a more natural grip, while heavier models use a thicker 34 mm diameter. The chrome finish is smooth but shaped ergonomically to help you maintain a secure hold during reps. This makes them comfortable for high‑rep circuits as well as slower strength movements.

• 28 mm handle diameter for 6 lb pair for comfortable control
• Ergonomic shaping to reduce hand fatigue
• Chrome plating for a smooth, easy‑clean surface
• Consistent feel across sets and repetitions

Which exercises and settings are best for these hex dumbbells?

These 6 lb fixed dumbbells are versatile for many routines: rehabilitation, conditioning, light resistance training, mobility work, and upper‑body isolation movements. Their rubber coating and hex design make them suitable for use on hardwood, rubber tile, or carpet without causing marks. Because they’re compact and stable, they’re also practical for small home gyms, studios, or outdoor sessions.

• Upper‑body moves: lateral raises, curls, presses
• Core and mobility: Russian twists, farmer carries, shoulder stability
• Lower intensity circuits and rehab protocols
• Indoor or outdoor use with minimized floor impact

How should I store and care for these dumbbells?

Storage is straightforward thanks to the hex head shape that prevents rolling—stack them on a rack, shelf, or in a corner for tidy organization. Clean the chrome handles with a mild detergent and wipe dry; inspect the rubber coating periodically for wear if used outdoors. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to reduce long‑term rubber fading.

• Store on a flat rack or shelf to save space
• Wipe chrome handles with a damp cloth and dry
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve rubber
• Inspect coating regularly if used outdoors
