Haven Tents Lay-Flat Hammock Tent — Forest Green, All-in-One Waterproof Sleep System with Mosquito Net

The Haven Tent Original Lay-Flat Hammock Tent is a compact, all-in-one sleeping system that gives you a bed-like, lay-flat sleep outdoors with built-in bug protection and a waterproof rainfly.

Designed to bridge the comfort gap between a camp cot and a traditional hammock, this kit packages a patent-pending lay-flat hammock body, insulated sleeping pad, full-coverage bug net, and a high-performance 4,000mm waterproof rainfly into a single lightweight system. At about 6 lbs trail weight and packing to a small footprint, it’s intended for backpackers, car campers, and anyone who wants a more comfortable night under the trees without carrying multiple components.

How does the lay-flat design improve outdoor sleep?

The patent-pending shape flattens the sleeping platform so your spine and hips stay aligned, reducing pressure points that typical gathered-end hammocks create. You can sleep on your back, side, or stomach more naturally than in a curved hammock. The result is less tossing and turning and a more restorative night outdoors.

• Flat, bed-like surface supports multiple sleep positions
• Reduced pressure on hips and shoulders for fewer aches
• Integrated mattress compatibility for added insulation and comfort

Will it keep me dry and bug-free in variable weather?

Yes—the system includes a removable, full-coverage 4,000mm waterproof rainfly and a built-in mosquito net that zips closed to block insects. The hammock body’s 210T polyester also carries a 4,000mm waterproof coating for additional protection from spray and light rain. For heavier storms, the rainfly channels water away from the shelter and can be tensioned with included guy-lines and stakes.

• 4,000mm waterproof rating on rainfly and hammock body
• Integrated zippered mosquito net for insect protection
• Guy-lines and stakes allow secure pitch in windy or wet conditions

How easy is it to set up and carry on the trail?

Setup requires no poles: attach the tree straps, clip the carabiners, and tension the hammock—most users can assemble the complete shelter in minutes. Weighing approximately 6 lbs 1.3 oz trail weight and compressing to about 15×6×6 inches, the kit fits comfortably in or on most packs. Everything you need is included, so there’s no last-minute gear run.

• Quick strap-and-clip setup with no poles required
• Packs down small for backpacking or bikepacking
• Complete kit includes straps, carabiners, stakes, and guy-lines

Can the Haven Tent be used in different camping scenarios?

The system is versatile: use it hung between trees as a hammock tent, or pitch it on the ground with trekking poles when trees aren’t available. The included insulated air mattress increases warmth and comfort regardless of the pitch style. A Lounge Strap converts the shelter into a suspended chair for daytime relaxation at camp.

• Hang between trees or set up flat on the ground with poles
• Insulated air mattress included for warmth and comfort
• Lounge Strap option turns the shelter into a daytime chair

Who is this for? The Haven Tent Original Lay-Flat Hammock Tent suits backpackers who prioritize a better night’s sleep without significant weight or bulk, car campers wanting a quick, comfortable shelter, and outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate multi-use gear.
