HIHOHO Waterproof Sandproof Beach Blanket Mat is an oversized, quick-drying nylon picnic and beach mat designed to resist sand and water while folding compactly for travel.

This lightweight, durable mat measures 79" × 83" and combines water resistance, sand-proof performance, and easy care to make beach days, picnics, and outdoor adventures simpler. The blanket includes corner pockets for anchoring, four ABS stakes, a carabiner, and a compact carry bag, so you can secure it on windy shores, shake sand off quickly, and pack it away without hassle.

How does the HIHOHO mat keep sand and water away?

The mat is made from quick-drying nylon with a sand-resistant surface that lets grit slide off or be shaken free. Each corner has a pocket you can fill with sand, rocks, or use the supplied stakes to anchor the mat when wind or uneven terrain would otherwise move it.

• Water-resistant nylon surface repels shallow water and splashes
• Four corner pockets accept sand or stones for weight
• Includes 4 ABS anchor stakes and a carabiner for secure anchoring
• Shakeable fabric removes sand quickly — no sticky residue

How portable and travel-friendly is this beach blanket?

Despite its generous spread, the HIHOHO beach blanket is lightweight (about 0.71 lbs) and compresses into a small carry bag roughly 5.1" × 7.5". The included carabiner and compact bag let you attach it to a backpack, stroller, or beach trolley for hands-free transport.

• Oversized 79" × 83" surface fits 1–3 adults comfortably
• Packs down to pocketable dimensions for easy storage
• Carabiner included for clipping to gear while hiking or traveling
• Low weight makes it ideal for day trips and flights

Is the blanket easy to clean and maintain?

The HIHOHO blanket is machine washable and engineered to handle routine cleaning without tearing. To preserve the waterproof layer and colors, wash in clean water without bleach or fabric softeners and air-dry for best results.

• Machine-washable nylon — gentle cycle recommended
• Avoid bleach and softeners to protect the waterproof coating
• Quick-drying fabric speeds reuse after washing or rinsing
• Durable construction resists fraying from regular use

Where can I use this blanket besides the beach?

Its sandproof and water-resistant properties make the mat useful across many outdoor settings. Use it as a picnic blanket, camping groundcloth, fishing seat, patio mat, or for concerts and sports events where ground protection is needed.

• Park and lawn picnics — keeps grass moisture out
• Camping and hiking base layer for clean seating or gear
• Fishing and boating — quick-dry after splashes
• Outdoor events and festivals — fast to deploy and pack away
