Honma D1 Distance Golf Balls – Fluorescent Orange, 1 Dozen, Higher Launch & Soft Feel

Whether you want more carry on drives, clearer sightlines on long shots, or a forgiving ball for practice rounds, the Honma D1 blends a rebound-focused core with a durable cover and an aerodynamic dimple array. Bright orange coloring helps you track flight and recover lost balls faster while a dual-line alignment aid supports more precise putting setup. These balls aim to produce longer, straighter shots for players of varied skill levels without sacrificing a comfortable greenside touch.

How do Honma D1 balls help me get more distance?

The D1 centers on a low-spin rubber core engineered to rebound energy efficiently, producing higher ball speed and greater carry. A streamlined 368-dimple pattern lowers drag for extended flight, so you get added yards off the tee while keeping trajectory stable.

• Low-spin rubber core for faster energy transfer
• 368-dimple design to reduce air resistance
• Optimized shell for consistent launch angle and carry

Will these feel soft around the green and on wedges?

Yes—Honma pairs the core with a resilient Surlyn cover that compresses pleasantly on short shots, giving a soft, controlled feel at impact. The cover also retains durability so the same ball keeps its performance through multiple rounds.

• Surlyn outer layer for softer touch and long life
• Core compression tuned for short-game feedback
• Good spin control for chip and pitch shots

How does the fluorescent color and alignment aid improve play?

The vivid orange finish makes the ball easier to see in flight and spot on the ground, reducing time spent searching in rough or under trees. A dual-line alignment mark—one thinner for club-face alignment and one thicker for target direction—helps you set up more consistently for putts and aimed shots.

• Fluorescent orange for clear visibility in varied light
• Dual-line system to match club face and target line
• Color increases recoverability from hazards and foliage

Are these suitable for every golfer?

Designed as an all-level distance ball, the D1 offers a blend of speed, feel, and value that suits beginners, casual players, and weekend competitors. They are USGA- and R&A-compliant, making them acceptable for both practice and casual competition.

• USGA/R&A-approved for tournament legality
• One-dozen pack for practice and rounds
• Balanced for men, women, and developing players
