HydraPak Recon Twist & Sip Wide-Mouth Water Bottle 946 ml (32 oz) Black & White — 50% Recycled, Leak-Resistant

The HydraPak RECON Twist & Sip Wide Mouth Water Bottle is a 32oz reusable bottle made with 50% recycled plastic and a patented twist cap that delivers a smooth, glass-like pour.

Designed for hikers, commuters, and everyday use, the RECON bottle blends durable, low-impact materials with a simple, two-piece design for easy cleaning and dependable performance. The slim-profile body slips into most pack and car cup holders while the flexible carry handle and indented grip make it comfortable to hold on the move. Built to resist stains, odors, and impact, this bottle keeps hydration convenient without compromising sustainability.

How does the twist cap improve drinking on the trail?

The patented 180° twist cap controls flow so you get a steady, glass-like stream rather than abrupt gushes or splashes. Twist to open for drinkable flow, or twist closed for secure transport — the mechanism is intuitive and quick when you're moving.

• 180-degree twist action for consistent pour control
• Glass-like drinking feel without fragile materials
• Twist-back closure provides reliable leak protection

What makes this bottle more sustainable than typical plastic bottles?

The RECON bottle and its cap are made using Tritan Renew technology, incorporating 50% recycled plastic in each component. That reduces virgin-plastic demand while keeping the bottle free from BPA and PVC — a practical step toward lower-impact gear without sacrificing durability.

• 50% recycled content in both bottle and cap
• Manufactured with Tritan Renew materials
• BPA- and PVC-free for everyday safety and reuse

Is the RECON bottle easy to clean and maintain?

Simplicity was prioritized: the bottle separates into just two parts — the body and the cap with an inner gasket — so cleaning is fast and thorough. All components are dishwasher safe, and the wide mouth offers easy access for brushes or quick air-drying.

• Two-piece construction for fast cleaning
• Dishwasher-safe components for convenience
• Wide mouth fits brushes and ice cubes for full sanitation

Does the bottle fit in packs and cup holders?

The RECON’s slim silhouette was shaped to slide into pack pockets and most vehicle cup holders without wobbling. The indented finger groove helps steady the bottle when extracting it from tight spaces, and the flexible bail handle doubles as a secure carry point.

• Slim body for easy storage in pack side pockets
• Compatible with most standard cup holders
• Indented grip and flexible carry handle for stable handling

Who this is for: Adventurers and daily commuters who want a dependable, eco-friendlier water bottle that cleans easily and performs reliably. If you prioritize reduced-plastic gear, simple maintenance, and a controlled pour without using glass, the HydraPak RECON Twist & Sip 32oz is built to be a practical, long-lasting hydration companion.
