The Hydro Flask 20 oz Wide with Flex Cap Dew is a stainless steel, double-wall vacuum insulated bottle built to keep beverages cold for up to 24 hours and hot up to 12 hours.

This wide-mouth, 20-ounce reusable bottle combines rugged stainless steel with TempShield insulation and a flexible, leakproof cap so you can carry water, coffee or iced drinks without flavor transfer or temperature loss. How long will drinks stay cold or hot in the 20 oz Hydro Flask?

The Hydro Flask 20 oz Wide uses double-wall vacuum insulation (TempShield) to slow heat transfer. Expect cold beverages to remain chilled up to 24 hours and hot drinks to stay warm up to 12 hours under normal conditions. The exterior stays comfortable to hold and won’t sweat with cold liquids.

• Cold retention: up to 24 hours
• Hot retention: up to 12 hours
• TempShield prevents external condensation

Is the Flex Cap really leakproof and dishwasher safe?

The Flex Cap is designed to close securely and resist leaks when properly sealed, making it safe to carry in bags. Both the bottle and the cap are dishwasher safe, so regular cleaning is quick and simple—helpful if you switch between drinks frequently.

• Leak-resistant Flex Cap when closed
• Lid and bottle are dishwasher compatible
• Easy to rinse or run through a cycle to remove residues

Will this bottle fit in my car cupholder and accept ice cubes?

The 20 oz Wide has a profile intended to fit most standard cupholders while offering a larger opening than narrow-neck bottles. The wide mouth makes loading ice cubes, fruit slices, or powder mixes straightforward and allows for larger sips when you’re on the move.

• Cupholder-friendly dimensions for travel and daily commutes
• Wide mouth accommodates ice and easy pouring
• Smooth rim for comfortable drinking

Will flavors transfer or affect my water?

Constructed from pro-grade stainless steel, this Hydro Flask resists flavor retention so yesterday’s beverage won’t influence today’s drink. The smooth, nonporous interior also helps prevent stains and lingering odors over time.

• Stainless steel interior for neutral taste
• Minimal flavor transfer between uses
• Simple to clean to keep tastes consistent

Who is this for? The Hydro Flask 20 oz Wide Flex Cap Dew is ideal for commuters, gym-goers, students and anyone who wants a durable, easy-to-clean bottle that balances daily portability with strong temperature performance. It suits people who need a moderate capacity (20 oz) that still fits cupholders, accepts ice, and won’t retain flavors between beverages.
