Innova Disc Golf Blizzard Champion Boss Distance Driver — Speed 13, Glide 5 (World-Record S-Curve)

The Innova Blizzard Champion Boss is a world-record distance driver built for maximum range and controlled S-curve flights.

Designed to push the limits of how far a disc can travel, the Blizzard Boss became famous when David Wiggins Jr. launched one beyond 1,100 feet. This Blizzard Champion release combines high-speed aerodynamics with predictable stability, giving skilled players the ability to shape extreme long-distance lines without the disc violently hyzering out or nosediving when slightly overturned. Blizzard Champion plastic is also lighter than standard Champion blends, providing added distance potential for players who want less arm effort and more carry.

How does the Blizzard Boss help me throw farther?

The Boss is a speed-13 driver engineered for sustained velocity and extended glide. Its combination of high speed and a glide rating of 5 lets it maintain loft longer than many other long-range drivers, so it converts powerful throws into exceptional distance.

• Speed 13 helps cut through air at initial release for top-end distance.
• Glide 5 keeps the disc aloft during long flights and reduces early drops.
• Blizzard Champion plastic’s lighter mass improves carry on long throws.

What flight characteristics should I expect from this driver?

The Boss is tuned for controlled S-curve performance: a slight turn at high speed with a reliable finish fade. With a -1 turn and a fade of 3, it resists immediate hyzer and doesn’t burn into the ground if it gets overturned, making it dependable on long lines and headwind conditions.

• Turn -1 gives a subtle rightward move (for right-hand backhand) before it returns.
• Fade 3 provides a solid, predictable finish at the end of the flight.
• Stable platform supports long S-curve shapes without early hyzer-out.

Why choose Blizzard Champion plastic for the Boss?

Blizzard Champion offers the durability and premium feel of Champion plastic with a lighter overall weight, which helps many players gain additional distance without changing their throw mechanics. Its streaky, icy appearance also makes each disc visually unique while holding up to repeated impacts.

• Top-tier durability resists dings and warping over time.
• Lighter weight improves carry and reduces required exertion for max distance.
• Distinctive marbled look means each disc has a unique appearance.

Can I use the Blizzard Boss in different wind and course situations?

Yes—the Boss’s combination of stability and glide makes it versatile across open fields, long fairways, and windier conditions. It performs well for big turnover shots that need to hold air or for controlled max-distance drives when you need reliable finish behavior at the end of a long flight.

• Handles headwinds better than very understable high-speed drivers.
• Excellent for open-course bombing and long fairway carries.
• Good option for players shaping wide S-curves or extended turnover lines.

Who is this for: The Blizzard Champion Boss is aimed at advanced and expert players who have the arm speed to unlock a speed-13 driver and want a disc that converts power into exceptional range. It’s also appealing to intermediate throwers seeking extra distance via lighter Blizzard Champion plastic. If you need a world-class distance driver capable of shaping long S-curves and handling varied conditions, the Boss is engineered for that role.
