JOOLA Essentials Pickleball Paddle – Fibreglass Face, 12mm Honeycomb Core, USAPA-Approved (Single or Set)

If you want a step up from entry-level gear without jumping to professional-priced equipment, the JOOLA Essentials line gives you pro-derived technologies in a durable, user-friendly paddle. Built with a fiberglass striking surface over a Response Honeycomb Polymer core, the paddle combines touch and pop to help you place shots and control rallies. Available as a single paddle or a set that includes two paddles, two outdoor balls, and a carry bag, it’s ready for casual matches or beginner tournaments.

How does the JOOLA Essentials paddle feel during rallies?

The fiberglass face offers a crisp response with more dwell time than hard composite surfaces, so you can shape softer dinks or punch through drives. The honeycomb polymer core balances power and control, reducing harsh vibration while keeping the paddle lively.

• 15.5" x 7.9" blade size with a broad sweet spot
• 12mm core thickness for a balanced power/control profile
• Approx. 8.2 oz playing weight for quick reaction and maneuverability
• Fiberglass surface layered for consistent ball feel

What grip and handling features improve comfort and control?

JOOLA fitted the paddle with a textured white ridge grip that reduces slip and improves hand stability during longer points. The grip dimensions accommodate most adult hand sizes and help absorb shock for a more comfortable hold.

• 4-inch circumference and 4.75-inch grip length for a secure fit
• Perforated anti-slip surface to manage moisture
• Black edge guard protects rim from scuffs and maintains integrity

Is this paddle appropriate for tournament play or learning players?

Yes — the Essentials paddle is USAPA-approved and constructed to meet common tournament requirements while remaining approachable for players developing their skills. The set option supplies everything needed to start playing immediately.

• USAPA/UPA-approved model suitable for sanctioned play
• Set includes two paddles, two outdoor seamless balls, and a carry bag
• Designed for intermediate and ambitious beginner players

What variants and accessories come with the JOOLA Essentials options?

Choose a single paddle if you want a spare or upgrade, or select the set for a ready-to-play package with matching gear. The included outdoor balls are built for durability and true flight, while the bag keeps paddles and accessories organized between sessions.

• Single paddle option: ideal for replacing or customizing your racket
• Set option: two paddles, two USAPA-approved outdoor balls, carry bag
• Edge guard and reinforced layers extend lifespan under regular play
