Kryptonite Bike Cable Lock — KryptoFlex 6 ft 12mm, 4‑Digit Combination & Coiled Mountable Security

The Kryptonite KryptoFlex is a flexible, 12mm braided-steel cable lock with a user-resettable 4-digit combination and EASY-CLICK locking for secure, portable protection of bikes and outdoor gear.

Lightweight yet robust, the KryptoFlex cable is engineered to balance cut resistance, portability, and convenience. Its coiled design stores compactly on a ride, and the added bike mount keeps the cable accessible without extra weight on your frame. Kryptonite includes a combination-reset mechanism and registration option so you can personalize and recover your code if needed.

How secure is the 12mm braided-steel cable against common theft tools?

The 12mm braided steel core offers notable resistance to casual cutting tools and quick snips while remaining flexible enough for many locking scenarios. It’s designed to deter opportunistic thieves and buy time, but like all cables, it’s best used in combination with a hardened lock or anchored point for higher-risk areas.

• 12mm braided steel construction for improved cut resistance
• Flexible sheath wraps around frames, racks, and multiple items
• Better suited for low- to moderate-risk environments or secondary security

How do I use the combination and can I change it if needed?

The KryptoFlex uses an EASY-CLICK locking head and a 4-digit resettable combination so you can set a personalized code without tools. Resetting is straightforward: align the current code, rotate the reset mechanism, set a new 4-digit sequence, and lock it back into place.

• Pre-set 4-digit combination that you can change any time
• Instructions included for resetting the code quickly and safely
• Option to register your combination with Kryptonite for recovery help

Which length should I choose — 2ft, 6ft, or 10ft — and what fits best?

Length determines versatility: shorter cables are compact and low-profile for quick stops, while longer lengths let you secure multiple bikes or wrap around car racks and fixed structures. Choose based on how you lock: 2ft for single-bike, 6ft for car racks and multi-vehicle setups, 10ft when you need to bundle gear or reach distant anchor points.

• 2 ft: compact, easy to carry for light, single-bike locking
• 6 ft: balanced length for car racks, multiple items, and household gear
• 10 ft: maximum reach for multi-bike or awkward anchor situations

What accessories and support come with the lock?

Kryptonite includes a bike mounting bracket so you can stow the cable on your frame while riding, plus access to the Combo Safe program to register your code. The product is backed by Kryptonite’s limited lifetime warranty and customer support for assistance or replacement needs.

• Frame-mount bracket for secure on-bike storage while riding
• Combo Safe registration for combination recovery assistance
• Limited lifetime warranty and dedicated customer experience support
