Lamicall Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack with IPX8 Phone Pouch for Phones up to 7" — 20L Roll-Top Floatable, 500D PVC

The Lamicall Dry Bag Waterproof Backpack is a roll-top floating dry sack with an IPX8 phone pouch that keeps gear dry and buoyant during water sports and outdoor adventures.

Designed for kayaking, paddleboarding, rafting, beach days and rainy commutes, this dry bag combines heavy-duty 500D PVC fabric, airtight welded seams, and a simple 3-step roll-top seal to block water, sand and mud. Choose from 5L, 10L, 20L, 30L or 40L sizes to suit daily essentials or multi-day trips. The included touch-friendly IPX8 phone pouch adds an extra layer of protection for smartphones up to 7 inches, while the main compartment traps air to float if accidentally dropped overboard.

How does the roll-top seal stop water and make the bag float?

The bag’s stiffened roll-top is meant to be flattened and rolled tightly 3 to 4 times, then clipped into the heavy-duty buckle to create an airtight closure and carry handle. When sealed correctly, the main chamber captures air and provides buoyancy so the bag will float if it falls into water.

• 3–4 tight rolls recommended for full watertight protection
• Heavy-duty buckle clicks to form a secure handle
• 500D PVC and welded seams resist punctures and leaks
• Sealed chamber traps air to improve flotation

What level of phone protection does the included pouch provide?

The bonus IPX8 waterproof phone pouch is touch-screen compatible and fits phones up to 7 inches, letting you operate your device while keeping it dry. For maximum safety, place the phone inside the pouch and then store it in the main floating dry bag.

• IPX8-rated pouch for full immersion protection
• Clear, responsive material maintains touchscreen use
• Fits most modern smartphones up to 7 inches
• Double protection when pouch is kept within the sealed bag

Which size and strap configuration should I choose for day trips or longer outings?

Smaller sizes (5L–10L) are ideal for essentials like wallet, keys, and a small towel; mid-sizes (20L–30L) suit full change of clothes and snacks; the 40L model accommodates multi-day gear. The 20L bag is available with ergonomic dual shoulder straps for comfortable backpack-style carry on longer journeys.

• 5L–10L: compact, light, for short water activities
• 20L: best balance of capacity and comfort with backpack straps
• 30L–40L: roomy for multi-item loads and extended trips
• Detachable, adjustable straps distribute weight and reduce strain

What can I safely store in the exterior splashproof pocket?

The front zip pocket is splash-resistant and meant for fast-access items like sunscreen, keys, or a compact snack. Avoid storing electronics in this pocket when full immersion is possible; the pocket protects against surface splashes but is not fully watertight.

• Quick access to items you need while active
• Great for sunglasses, lip balm, and ID cards
• Not rated for full submersion—keep devices inside the main roll-top
• Zippered closure helps keep out sand and light spray
