Lepro 1500LM LED Camping Lantern — Battery-Powered, 4 Light Modes, IPX4 Splash Resistant

The Lepro 1500LM Battery Powered LED Camping Lantern is a portable, battery-run light that delivers up to 1500 lumens with four selectable modes for versatile outdoor and emergency use.

This compact lantern blends high output with simple controls and durable build qualities so you can light a tent, campsite, garage or backyard gathering without relying on mains power. It runs on three D-cell alkaline batteries (not included), offers IPX4 splash resistance, and includes both a top metal handle and a bottom hook for flexible placement. The lamp’s brightness is adjustable, and an emergency red flash mode adds visibility when needed.

How bright is this lantern and can I adjust the light for different tasks?

The Lepro lantern reaches a maximum of 1500 lumens for wide-area illumination and supports dimming so you can scale brightness down for reading or close-up tasks. Long-press the main button to smoothly adjust intensity; short presses cycle between preset modes.

• Maximum output: 1500 lumens for lighting large spaces
• Dimmable control via long-press for intermediate brightness levels
• Preset modes accessible with short presses for quick changes
• Suitable for reading, campsite tasks, or lighting a shelter

What light modes does it offer and when would I use them?

The lantern includes four distinct modes: daylight white, warm white, full-brightness, and a red flashing mode. These options let you optimize color temperature and intensity for comfort, visibility, or signaling.

• Daylight white: higher color temperature for task-oriented visibility
• Warm white: softer light for relaxed, indoor-tent use
• Full brightness: instant maximum lumen output for area illumination
• Flashing red: emergency signaling or low-visibility marker

How long will the batteries last and what power source does it need?

The lantern is powered by three D alkaline batteries (not included) and can run up to roughly 12 hours even when set near its peak brightness, depending on battery brand and mode. This battery choice favors long runtime and easy field replacement when you’re away from chargers.

• Power: 3 × D-cell alkaline batteries (user-supplied)
• Estimated runtime: up to 12 hours under high-brightness conditions
• Non-rechargeable design — swap batteries for extended use
• Good option where mains or USB charging isn’t available

Is the lantern tough enough for outdoor use and how can I carry or hang it?

The Lepro lantern is built with IPX4 water resistance to shed splashes from any direction, making it suitable for light rain or snowy conditions. It also includes multiple mounting options so you can hang it in a tent, set it on a table, or carry it easily between sites.

• IPX4 splash-resistant housing for wet-weather use
• Top metal handle for carrying or hanging from a branch or hook
• Bottom hanging hook for lantern-style suspension inside tents or shelters
• Removable cover for access and flexible positioning
