Mad Rock Concorde Express Quickdraws 6-Pack — Lightweight 26 kN Wire-Gate Quickdraw Set

The Mad Rock Concorde Express Quickdraw 6 Pack is a lightweight, high-strength sport climbing quickdraw set built with warm-forged aluminum carabiners and Dyneema dogbones for fast, reliable clipping.

Whether bolting up a sport route or topping out after a long day at the crag, this six-pack of Concorde Express quickdraws balances low weight with proven strength and clean clipping action. Mad Rock engineered the pairings with warm-forged aluminum carabiners rated 26 kN on the major axis and smooth wire gates front and back, while Dyneema dogbones cut down bulk and drying time compared with traditional webbing. Each quickdraw is individually tested and certified to CE and UIAA standards, making this pack suitable for experienced climbers who want dependable gear for regular use.

How do these quickdraws perform when clipping on lead?

The Concorde Express quickdraws are designed for fast, confident clipping during lead climbs. Warm-forged carabiners and wire gates minimize gate flutter and make gate-to-groove alignment smooth, so you can focus on movement rather than fumbling hardware.

• Front and rear wire gates for consistent, snag-free clipping.
• Warm-forged aluminum for a secure, lightweight body.
• Ergonomics tuned for quick one-handed use on sport draws and bolt runners.

Are these quickdraws strong and safe enough for regular sport climbing?

Yes — each carabiner in the set is strength rated to 26 kN along the major axis and the pack is certified to CE and UIAA standards. Mad Rock also individually tests each quickdraw to ensure it meets manufacturing tolerances and safety expectations.

• 26 kN major axis strength for reliable load performance.
• CE and UIAA certification for industry-standard safety compliance.
• Individual testing ensures consistent quality across the six-pack.

What advantages do Dyneema dogbones offer over traditional nylon slings?

Dyneema dogbones reduce overall weight and bulk while offering high tensile strength and low stretch, which is useful when building quickdraws for fast clipping and efficient rack setups. They also dry faster and resist moisture-related degradation better than some nylon alternatives.

• Lower weight than comparable nylon slings for a lighter rack.
• Minimal stretch for predictable performance under load.
• Fast-drying and abrasion-resistant for all-weather climbing.

How should I use and care for these quickdraws to maximize lifespan?

Routine inspection, gentle cleaning, and storing away from UV and chemicals will keep these quickdraws working well. Pay special attention to the wire gates and sling attachment points and retire any quickdraw showing significant wear, sharp edges, or compromised gates.

• Rinse with fresh water after salty or dirty conditions; dry fully before storage.
• Inspect gates, nose contact areas, and Dyneema dogbones before each season.
• Replace any quickdraw with visible cuts, severe fraying, or bent carabiners.

Who is this for: Climbers seeking a compact, performance-oriented six-pack of quickdraws for sport climbing, gym-to-crag sessions, and multi-pitch routes where saving weight and maintaining clean clipping are priorities. The Mad Rock Concorde Express Quickdraw 6 Pack suits intermediate to advanced climbers who demand certified strength, wire-gate reliability, and low-weight Dyneema slings for an efficient rack.
