MARCHWAY Floating Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack — Roll-Top 20L with Floatation & Padded Straps

The MARCHWAY Floating Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack is a roll-top, multi-size dry sack that seals out water and floats to keep your gear dry and easy to retrieve on water outings.

Whether you paddle, boat, hike or travel, this dry bag combines reinforced, multi-layer construction with a roll-top closure to block splashes, spray and brief submersion. Available in 5L, 10L, 20L, 30L and 40L capacities, MARCHWAY’s design balances rugged abrasion resistance with lightweight packability — each size folds into its own pouch so you can stow it when not in use. The larger sizes include backpack straps for comfortable carry; smaller volumes add a removable shoulder strap for crossbody convenience.

How does this dry bag keep items dry and floating?

The bag uses a roll-top closure that creates a watertight seal when rolled down 3–5 times and buckled. A round bottom traps air when sealed, which both repels water and gives buoyancy so the bag stays visible if it goes overboard. Seams are expertly welded and materials are multi-layered for abrasion resistance without sacrificing flexibility.

• Roll-top closure — roll 3–5 times then buckle for a waterproof seal.
• Round bottom design traps air to provide floatation and visibility.
• Welded seams and reinforced stitching reduce leak risk under rugged use.
• Durable buckles and D-ring attachment points secure the pack to boats.

Which size should I choose for different activities?

Pick smaller volumes for short trips or personal items and larger sizes for multi-day or group outings. 5L–10L are suited to phones, wallets, cameras and snacks; 20L–40L are large enough for clothes, sleeping gear or a day’s worth of food and equipment. All sizes compress into their pouch for easy storage when not deployed.

• 5L–10L: ideal for essentials, camera gear, and light day trips.
• 20L: common choice for day paddles and hiking with extra layers.
• 30L–40L: better for overnight trips, bulky clothing, or group gear.
• Compact pouch: each bag folds into its own pocket for storage.

How comfortable and secure is the backpack style on land?

Larger sizes include padded, adjustable backpack straps that distribute weight across your shoulders for longer carries. Reinforced attachment points and heavy-duty buckles keep the load stable, while the removable shoulder strap on smaller models gives quick crossbody options. The bag’s flexible body molds to contents, preventing awkward shifting during movement.

• Padded, adjustable shoulder straps on 20L–40L for balanced carrying.
• Removable crossbody strap on 5L–10L for hands-free convenience.
• Sturdy D-ring lets you lash the bag to a boat or kayak securely.
• Flexible material reduces bulk and avoids rigid pressure points.

What everyday and adventure uses can I expect from this dry sack?

This bag is engineered for broad utility: on-water sports, travel, and wet-weather commutes. It’s designed to resist tears and scrapes from rocks or rigging while protecting electronics, clothes and food from moisture and sand. Keep in mind it’s built for splash protection and brief floatation, not for continual deep submersion.

• Excellent for rafting, kayaking, canoeing, surfing and paddleboarding.
• Useful for hiking, fishing, beach days, travel, and rainy commutes.
• Floats when sealed properly, easing retrieval if dropped overboard.
• Available in multiple colors to match gear and increase visibility.
