MARCHWAY Lightweight Folding Camping Chair — Compact 1.22 kg Packable Seat, 150 kg Capacity, Triangular Frame

The MARCHWAY Lightweight Folding Camping Chair is an ultralight, compact portable seat with a triangular frame and aircraft-grade aluminum legs that supports up to 330 lbs.

This compact folding chair blends high strength with low weight so you can carry dependable seating on hikes, fishing trips, festivals, or backyard gatherings. Engineered with a triangular support design and 15mm-thick aluminum poles, it minimizes wobble while keeping the packed footprint small. The seat fabric is breathable ripstop polyester that breaks in for easier setup, and the whole rig packs into a small carry bag that fits on or inside most backpacks.

How quickly can I set this chair up and pack it away?

Set up takes under a minute once you’re familiar with the steps. The shock-corded poles snap into position and the seat slips onto four posts; folding is equally straightforward with two integrated Velcro straps to keep the poles secure.

• Shock-corded frame for fast assembly
• Pull base handle outward to lock frame
• Seat slips over four poles—no tools required
• Two Velcro straps keep folded poles compact

Will this chair stay stable on uneven ground?

The triangular frame is designed to reduce front-to-back and side-to-side wobble, making the chair more secure on campsites, light slopes, or grassy areas. Wide, reinforced joints and thick aluminum legs add rigidity for confident seating even on mixed terrain.

• Triangular base improves balance and reduces tipping
• 15mm aircraft-grade aluminum legs for structural strength
• Reinforced plastic joints resist play and flex
• Supports up to 330 lbs on varied surfaces

How portable is the MARCHWAY folding chair for backpacks and travel?

At just 2.7 lbs with its carry bag, this chair offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio for overnight packs or day trips. It compresses to a small size that can be strapped to a pack, slid into a side pocket, or carried by hand without adding bulk.

• Weighs only 2.7 lbs including carry bag
• Packs down to a compact footprint for backpacking
• Carry bag included for simple transport and storage
• Ideal for hikers, bikers, kayakers, and festival-goers

How comfortable and durable is the seat for long use?

The seat angle keeps you upright for conversation while allowing relaxed postures for reading or stargazing. Breathable ripstop polyester resists wear and disperses weight across the triangular base to reduce pressure points and stay cool in warm weather.

• Angled seat design balances upright and lounging positions
• Ripstop polyester for breathability and tear resistance
• Triangular weight distribution for even support
• Seat fabric breaks in for easier setup over time

Who is this for? Adventurers and everyday users who need a reliable, lightweight seat that packs small: backpackers who can’t sacrifice strength, campers wanting a stable campsite chair, anglers and hunters needing quick setup, and anyone attending outdoor events who values comfort without hauling heavy gear. The MARCHWAY Lightweight Folding Camping Chair is a practical choice when stability, compactness, and a 330 lb capacity are priorities.
