Marucci Padded Sliding Shorts — White Small, Compression Fit with Quilted Side Padding

Marucci Adult Elite Padded Sliding Shorts in white (small) are compression-style athletic shorts with quilted side padding and an integrated cup pocket to protect hips and groin during slides and contact play.

Built from a stretchy polyester-spandex blend with moisture-managing performance fabric, these Marucci sliders combine protection and range of motion for practices and games. Designed with input from the Marucci Player Advisory Board, they place protective sponge panels where sliding and contact create the most abrasion and impact, while a secure elastic waistband and flat seams keep the fit locked in under uniform pants.

How do these sliders protect me when I dive or slide?

The Marucci Elite sliders use quilted sponge padding on the outer thighs to absorb abrasion and reduce bruising during slides. Padding placement follows typical impact zones so protection stays where you need it without adding bulk to your stride.

• Quilted sponge side panels for targeted impact cushioning
• Low-profile padding that doesn’t impede leg movement
• Integrated cup pocket for added groin protection (cup not included)

Will these shorts stay comfortable and dry through a game?

The fabric blend prioritizes moisture management and stretch: polyester wicks sweat, spandex provides mobility, and the elastic waistband offers a snug fit. Flatlock seams minimize chafing under pants so you can focus on play rather than irritation.

• 82% polyester for sweat dispersion and fast drying
• 11% spandex for four-way stretch and unrestricted motion
• Elastic sublimated waistband for stable fit and logo detail

How does the fit and sizing work for these sliding shorts?

These are compression-style adult shorts in a small size; they fit snugly to provide muscle support and keep padding aligned. Choose true athletic sizing—if you prefer less compression, consider sizing up for a slightly looser feel under uniform pants.

• Compression cut designed to sit under baseball pants
• Small intended for typical adult measurements seeking close fit
• Flat seams and stretch fabric maintain alignment during play

What features make these suitable across different sports?

Although designed with baseball sliding in mind, the protective padding, integrated cup pocket, and moisture-wicking fabric make these sliders useful in any contact or sliding sport. They’ll pair well with hockey, football, or multi-sport training where hip and thigh protection matters.

• Approved for use in baseball, hockey, and football-type contact activities
• Integrated cup pocket supports added groin protection when needed
• Low-profile design keeps them compatible under a variety of uniforms

Who is this for? These Marucci Adult Elite Padded Sliding Shorts suit adult players who want low-profile protection without sacrificing mobility—infielder/outfielder baseball players who slide frequently, multi-sport athletes needing hip and thigh cushioning, and any player looking for a breathable compression base layer with a cup pocket. Cup is sold separately; choose your usual compression sizing or size up for a looser fit under pants.
