Mechanix Wear Tactical Specialty Vent Gloves Black, Large — breathable, touchscreen-capable

These gloves pair ventilated mesh with perforated fingers and a slim 0.6mm faux-leather palm to reduce heat and sweat while preserving tactile feedback. Designed for tactical work, field operations, and high-dexterity sports, they balance protection and breathability so you can maintain grip and device access when conditions get intense.

How do these gloves keep hands cool during extended activity?

The Specialty Vent design prioritizes airflow: breathable mesh panels and perforations let air circulate and promote evaporative cooling. Strategically placed finger fourchettes and vented trigger fingers reduce trapped heat where movement is greatest.

• Breathable mesh back for continuous ventilation
• Perforated fingers and palms to encourage evaporation
• Ventilated trigger finger and fourchettes for targeted cooling

Will I still have precise control and dexterity while wearing them?

Yes — the gloves use anatomical stitch darts and expandable flex joints that follow your hand’s natural movement, keeping fingertip feel for tasks requiring fine motor control. The thin 0.6mm faux leather palm provides grip without bulk.

• Anatomical stitch darts for a snug, ergonomic fit
• Expandable flex joints to enable full finger mobility
• High-dexterity faux leather palm for tactile grip and tool control

Can I use a phone or tablet without removing the gloves?

The palms and fingers are touchscreen-capable, so you can interact with smartphones and tablets without exposing your hands. This keeps you connected and efficient in the field without sacrificing protection.

• Touchscreen-compatible palm and finger surfaces
• Maintains device responsiveness during operations
• Reduces interruptions for frequent device use

How do these gloves stay secure and convenient when not worn?

A low-profile TPR wrist closure locks in fit, while nylon carrier loops make it easy to clip or stow gloves on gear. They’re also machine washable, simplifying care after muddy or sweaty use.

• Low-profile TPR closure for a secure, customized fit
• Nylon carrier loops for attachment to packs or belts
• Machine washable construction for easy cleaning
