Mitre IMPEL ONE Training Soccer Ball — 6-Panel Durable Practice Ball, Soft-Touch Foam for Grass & AstroTurf

Designed for repeated drills and everyday team sessions, the IMPEL ONE combines a redesigned 6-panel construction with soft-touch foam and Hyperflow grooves to deliver consistent performance. Built from a blend of rubber, polyester, foam and TPU, this Mitre training ball improves toughness without sacrificing feel, making it a smart choice for coaches, youth programs and players developing passing, control and shooting skills.

How will the IMPEL ONE improve everyday training?

The ball’s 6-panel layout and moulded Hyperflow grooves stabilise flight and reduce unpredictable swerves, helping players practice reliable passing and shooting. Because the cover uses soft-touch foam, drills that focus on first touch and ball control feel more forgiving and realistic.

• 6-panel design increases durability by approximately 10% over the prior model
• Hyperflow grooves promote steadier, truer flight paths
• Soft-touch foam enhances feel for close-control drills
• Balanced weight supports consistent practice repetition

Is this ball suitable for different surfaces like grass and AstroTurf?

Yes — the IMPEL ONE is built to perform on both natural grass and synthetic Astro surfaces. Its materials resist surface abrasion and the construction keeps shape and responsiveness across varied practice environments.

• Durable rubber blend resists wear from artificial turf
• Maintains predictable bounce and flight on grass fields
• Works well for mixed-surface training sessions or multi-pitch clubs

What makes the IMPEL ONE feel different from standard training balls?

The soft-touch foam layer gives the ball a more refined contact feel than hard training balls, while the moulded grooves refine airflow and ball stability. Together these features provide a near-match ball sensation for players progressing toward match-grade equipment.

• Foam layer reduces harshness on first touch and trapping
• Moulded grooves afford improved handling and flight predictability
• Balanced construction avoids overly heavy or floppy response

How do I get the ball ready after delivery?

The IMPEL ONE ships deflated to protect the ball and reduce shipping volume; inflate using a standard sports pump and needle. Using a Mitre pump is recommended for the best fit and to avoid valve damage, but any compatible hand or electric pump will work.

• Arrives deflated for safe, compact shipping
• Use a standard inflation needle and pump to reach recommended pressure
• Check valve seating and surface for even inflation before play

Who is this for: The Mitre IMPEL ONE is aimed at youth teams, coaches running regular training sessions, and individual players improving technique. It suits clubs and schools that need a dependable, all-weather training ball that offers a better touch than basic practice balls, while still being tough enough to handle frequent use.
