Molithe 100% Virgin Wool Blanket 62×86 in — Thick 600 GSM Military-Style Throw with PU Carry Strap

Molithe's 100% virgin wool blanket is a heavy, 62" × 86" throw designed to deliver durable warmth and packable portability for camping, emergency kits, and home use.

This thick wool blanket combines traditional military-style robustness with modern finishing: densely carded virgin wool (about 600 GSM) for insulating loft, reinforced edge stitching to resist wear, and a PU strap for easy transport. It's produced and washed to reduce odor and soften fibers while remaining naturally flame-resistant and breathable. Whether you plan to keep one in the car, bring it on a hike, or use it as a living-room throw, the Molithe blanket balances outdoor resilience with comfortable feel.

How will this blanket perform for overnight camping or cold-weather excursions?

The dense virgin wool filling traps air and maintains insulating properties even when damp, making it a solid choice for overnight use outdoors. Its thick construction preserves body heat while allowing moisture to wick away from skin, helping regulate comfort on cool nights.

• 600 GSM virgin wool provides substantial insulation and loft.
• Large 62" × 86" size covers one to two people or doubles as a ground layer.
• Natural breathability helps manage dampness during dewy conditions.
• Durable edge stitching resists fraying from repeated outdoor use.

Is the blanket comfortable against skin and easy to maintain?

The Molithe blanket is carded and processed through multiple hot washes to reduce itchiness and soften the wool fibers, resulting in a pleasantly fluffy, skin-friendly surface. While wool needs gentler care than synthetic throws, the manufacturing process here aims to reduce odor and improve long-term comfort.

• Advanced carding and three high-temperature washes increase softness.
• Non-scratchy finish suitable for direct skin contact for most users.
• Wool resists stains and odors compared with untreated fibers.
• Spot-clean or professional cleaning recommended for best longevity.

What features make it suited to military, emergency, or travel use?

This blanket incorporates functional details for rugged scenarios: a robust PU carrying strap for compact transport, reinforced seams to handle heavy use, and a natural material that offers flame resistance without chemical finishes. Its size and build make it a reliable choice for gear kits and vehicle trunks.

• Included PU strap secures blanket for easy carrying and storage.
• Sub-busbar seam technology prevents edge wear under stress.
• 100% virgin wool is renewable and more durable than recycled fibers.
• Large coverage works for emergency warmth, car kits, and group use.

How does this blanket compare to synthetic throws for home use?

Compared with synthetic blankets, virgin wool provides superior natural temperature regulation and long-term resilience. It offers a heavier, more substantial feel ideal for couches or beds, and its natural fiber characteristics reduce reliance on petrochemical materials.

• Wool regulates temperature more effectively than many synthetics.
• Higher weight and thickness create a cozy, substantial throw.
• Biobased virgin wool supports sustainability over recycled mixes.
• Naturally flame-retardant fibers minimize need for added chemicals.

Who is this for: The Molithe 100% Wool Blanket suits outdoor enthusiasts, emergency-preparedness planners, and anyone who prefers a heavy, natural-fiber throw for year-round use. Choose it if you want a durable, warm blanket to stash in a vehicle, bring on camping trips, or use at home when you want reliable insulation and a rugged feel without synthetic bulk.
