MotionTex Exercise Equipment Mat 36 x 84 in Black — Heavy-Duty Recycled PVC, Slip-Resistant Floor Protection

MotionTex 36" x 84" exercise equipment mat shields carpets and hard floors from impact, vibration, moisture, and scuffs caused by home gym machines.

Give your home gym a durable barrier that reduces noise, prevents floor damage, and creates a stable base for treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, and bikes. Made from recycled PVC, this mat is non-absorbent, easy to clean, and built with a textured surface to resist slipping. Rounded corners minimize trip hazards and the roll-up design makes storage simple when the mat isn’t needed.

How does this mat protect flooring during workouts?

The dense recycled PVC absorbs impact and isolates vibration so heavy equipment won’t dent or wear down flat-pile carpet or hardwood. It forms a continuous protective layer beneath moving parts and stationary loads to block scratches, scuffs, and compression marks.

• 36" x 84" coverage fits most full-size treadmills and ellipticals
• Thick, heavy-duty material distributes concentrated weight evenly
• Non-absorbent surface keeps moisture from reaching the floor
• Rounded corners prevent lifting and curling at edges

Will it keep my gym quieter and more stable?

Yes. The mat reduces machine vibration and muffles sound transmission, making intense workouts less disruptive to others in your home. The textured top adds traction so machines stay put and small movements don’t translate into audible thuds.

• Vibration damping lowers noise from running or pedaling
• Slip-resistant, non-directional texture improves equipment stability
• Large footprint reduces bounce and rocking for safer use

How do I clean and store the mat after use?

Maintenance is simple: the recycled PVC is non-absorbent, so sweat and spilled liquids stay on the surface and wipe away easily. For deeper cleaning, rinse with soap and water or use a household cleaner, then roll the mat for compact storage.

• Wipeable surface repels sweat, grease, and water
• Machine-safe cleaners not required—mild detergent suffices
• Flexible material rolls for convenient storage in closets or under benches

What equipment fits on this size mat?

The 36" x 84" dimensions accommodate most home fitness machines including standard treadmills, larger ellipticals, rowing machines, and many commercial-style stationary bikes. It also works well as an underlay for multi-machine setups in smaller home gyms.

• Compatible with popular brands such as Peloton, NordicTrack, ProForm, Bowflex, and Echelon
• Room for full-length walking or running decks and stabilizing feet
• Works under standalone strength equipment or compact cardio machines

Who is this for: This MotionTex mat is ideal for homeowners and apartment dwellers who use full-size cardio machines or multiple fitness devices and want to protect flooring, reduce noise, and improve machine stability. It’s a practical choice for anyone seeking an easy-to-clean, eco-conscious, heavy-duty floor protector for a home gym, basement, or garage workout space.
