mytag Blade Putter Cover for 2020 Scotty Cameron Special Select — Plush-Lined, Magnetic Closure

If you own a 2020 Scotty Cameron Special Select blade putter — Newport, Newport 2, Newport 2.5, Squareback 2, Fastback 1.5, Del Mar, Flowback 5 or Flowback 5.5 — these mytag covers are built to preserve head finish and feel during storage and transit. Crafted by Mytag Golf, the covers combine a dense three-layer shell, velvety interior and industrial magnet to keep the head secure without rubbing or scratching.

How will this cover fit my 2020 Scotty Cameron Special Select putter?

The cover is tailored to blade-style heads commonly found in the Special Select line, offering a snug fit that minimizes movement. Its shape accommodates the flat profile of Newport designs and the slightly fuller shapes of the Flowback and Squareback variations.

• Compatible models: Newport, Newport 2, Newport 2.5, Squareback 2, Fastback 1.5, Del Mar, Flowback 5, Flowback 5.5
• Blade-specific contouring reduces slippage inside the cover
• Room for standard hosel and neck variations without tight stress

What protection does the three-layer construction provide?

The three-layer build balances impact resistance with a soft interior contact surface. The outer layer resists scuffs and abrasions, the middle layer absorbs shocks, and the plush lining prevents finish wear and paint loss on the putter face and crown.

• Outer shell shields against knocks in bags and travel cases
• Middle cushioning disperses impacts from drops or crowded storage
• Plush inner lining preserves head finish and prevents rubbing marks

How does the magnetic closure perform during play and travel?

The industrial-strength magnet keeps the cover reliably closed while still allowing quick one-handed removal. The closure is strong enough to stay put during transport yet easy to open on the green or at the range.

• Secure hold prevents accidental exposure in bags or trunks
• Simple, fast access for pre-shot routines and practice sessions
• Durable magnetic hardware designed for repeated use without weakening

How does the interior finish protect delicate surfaces?

The interior uses a soft, plush fabric that prevents micro-abrasions and protects paint and metal finishes. This lining reduces the risk of cosmetic damage that can occur from metal-to-metal contact or rough fabric interiors.

• Gentle against polished crowns, face milling and engraved logos
• Non-abrasive texture limits loss of factory finish over time
• Easy to inspect and clean if debris collects inside
