Nathan SpeedDraw 2 handheld bottle 355 ml (12 oz) Black — double-wall insulated, ergonomic grip & phone pocket

The Nathan SpeedDraw 2 is a 12oz double-wall insulated handheld running flask with an ergonomic squeeze body, blast-valve cap for quick sips, and storage pockets for phone and keys.

Engineered for runners who want fast access to cool fluids without carrying a bulky pack, the SpeedDraw 2 combines insulation, an improved hand-shaped carrier and PPE-grade materials to make mid-run hydration effortless. Its compact 12oz capacity balances weight and water availability, while a reflective finish and adjustable strap focus on safety and comfort during early-morning or evening runs.

How does the SpeedDraw 2 keep liquids cooler during my run?

The bottle uses double-wall insulation to reduce heat transfer and slow warming from body heat and outside temperatures. That means your water stays noticeably cooler longer than a single-wall bottle of the same size, so sips remain refreshing across miles.

• 12oz / 355 mL double-wall insulated flask
• Hi-Viz material and insulating layer reduce warming compared to non-insulated bottles
• Push-pull blast valve minimizes open time, limiting heat exchange

What makes the handheld design easier to grip and squeeze?

Nathan redesigned the carrier shape to follow the natural curve of your hand, lowering strain and improving control while you run. The soft, chafe-free strap with a thumb hole secures the bottle so you can paddle or squeeze without tightening your full grip.

• Ergonomic hand-shaped carrier for a more comfortable hold
• Fully adjustable strap with chafe-free thumb hole for secure one-handed use
• Lightweight construction at about 4.44oz (126g) to reduce arm fatigue

How convenient is the storage for phone and valuables?

The molded carrier includes a large expandable power-mesh pocket that fits most smartphones and a small zippered pocket for keys, cards or gels. The mesh pocket’s fold-over design helps keep a phone stable during motion, and the zipper adds a secure place for essentials you don’t want to lose.

• Expandable power mesh pocket fits most smart phones
• Zippered stash pocket for keys, cards, or small items
• Fold-over mesh closure reduces bounce and keeps items accessible

Is the cap easy to use while moving?

The SpeedDraw 2 uses a push-pull blast valve cap that delivers quick bursts of fluid without requiring full unscrewing. It’s designed for rapid sipping on the go and to help control flow so you get hydration without spilling.

• Push-pull blast valve for rapid single-handed sips
• Secure cap design minimizes leaks when closed
• Easy-to-clean surfaces and simple cap mechanics

Who is this for? Runners, trail runners and fitness walkers who want a compact, insulated handheld with reliable storage and reflective safety features will appreciate the Nathan SpeedDraw 2. It’s suited to short- to medium-distance training runs, tempo work and daily outings where you want quick access to cool fluid and a safe place for your phone and keys without a full vest or belt.
