Northern Lights Candles Firestarters — Evergreen Forest scent, Tearaway Pods, Recycled Wax Eco-Friendly

These Evergreen Forest firestarters combine pre-consumer recycled wax with concentrated evergreen-inspired fragrance to make starting a fire simple and pleasantly aromatic. Developed in partnership with Woodchuck USA, each purchase helps fund tree planting—every pack includes a code so you can track the tree planted on your behalf. The tearaway pod format means no messy kindling or loose shavings: just separate a pod, nest it with logs, and light.

How do I use these firestarters safely and efficiently?

Using the pods is straightforward: place one or two pods among dry kindling or directly under a log stack, then ignite the exposed tip. Allow the pod to burn long enough to catch the adjacent wood. Keep the area clear of combustibles and follow normal fireplace or campfire safety practices.

• Remove a single tearaway pod from the strip and place it where air can reach the flame.
• Position pod under or between logs for best ignition transfer.
• Light the pod’s end and let it burn until surrounding wood is flaming.
• Always supervise open flames and maintain clearance per device instructions.

What does Evergreen Forest smell like and how strong is the scent?

Evergreen Forest blends crisp Fraser fir, balsam, blue spruce and cedarwood with iced pinecone top notes and a grounding juniper root base. The fragrance is meant to scent the immediate fire area—pleasantly woody and fresh without overwhelming enclosed rooms when used as directed.

• Top notes: iced pinecone accents for a cool, crisp opening.
• Heart notes: fraser fir, balsam, and blue spruce create a fresh forest character.
• Base notes: cedarwood and juniper root add warm, earthy depth.
• Intensity: moderate; designed to complement fireside ambiance rather than mask it.

What makes these firestarters eco-friendly and what is the Woodchuck USA partnership?

Each pack is made using 100% pre-consumer recycled wax, which reduces waste and gives materials new purpose. Northern Lights Candles has teamed with Woodchuck USA so that every purchase results in one tree planted; your pack contains a tracking code to view the tree’s location and impact online.

• Materials: recycled wax sourced from pre-consumer production streams.
• Social impact: one tree planted with every purchase through Woodchuck USA.
• Traceability: included code lets you track the planted tree’s location and status.
• Variations in color are natural due to recycled-wax batches.

How many pods are in a package and where can I use them?

Each package contains ten tearaway pods arranged on an easy-tear strip. They work well for indoor fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, and outdoor campfires, offering a convenient alternative to loose kindling when starting small to medium fires.

• Quantity: 10 fragranced tearaway pods per package.
• Ideal uses: indoor fireplaces, wood stoves, backyard fire pits, and campfires.
• Portability: compact packs fit in a camping kit or fireplace toolbox.
• Storage: keep dry and away from direct heat before use.

These Evergreen Forest firestarters suit anyone who wants faster, neater ignition with a natural woodsy aroma—homeowners with fireplaces, campers who prefer compact fire-start supplies, and eco-conscious shoppers who value recycled materials and verified tree planting.
