Oupeng sky Auto-Locking Carabiner Clips 4PCS Large 28kN Heavy-Duty Aluminium, One-Hand Lock

Oupeng sky Auto Locking Carabiner Clips are heavy-duty, one-handed locking carabiners rated to 28kN (about 6172 lbs) designed for secure everyday outdoor and utility use.

Built from aviation-grade aluminum with a non-toxic oxide finish and baking varnish, these auto-locking carabiners deliver a high strength-to-weight ratio for tasks that demand durable hardware. The barrel-style auto-lock engages automatically when released for fast, reliable closure, while the compact, ergonomic shape keeps them easy to operate with one hand. They come as a 4-piece set and suit many outdoor, workshop, and pet applications — note they are not recommended for certified climbing use.

How strong and reliable are these carabiners?

Each Oupeng sky carabiner is tested to withstand a longitudinal load of 28 kN, equivalent to roughly 6172 pounds, and a lateral load around 7 kN. The materials and finish are chosen to resist wear and corrosion in typical outdoor conditions.

• Rated strength: 28 kN (longitudinal) and ~7 kN (lateral)
• Aviation-grade aluminum for high strength with low weight
• Surface oxide and baking varnish finish to resist corrosion

How does the auto-locking mechanism work in everyday use?

The barrel-style sleeve rotates and locks automatically when you release the gate, so the carabiner secures itself with a single hand motion. This makes attaching or detaching gear quicker and reduces the chance of accidental opening.

• One-handed operation: twist the barrel, push the gate, release to lock
• Spring-loaded gate returns and auto-locks when released
• Smooth action for fast clipping of straps, ropes, and hardware

What practical uses fit these carabiners?

These clips are built for non-certified but heavy-duty tasks: hammock suspension, securing gear to packs, anchoring dog leashes, organizing tools, and rigging backyard swings. They’re versatile for camping, hiking, gym equipment, and general utility where a reliable quick-link is needed.

• Hammocks, swings, and outdoor fixtures
• Keychains, backpacks, and gear organization
• Large dog leashes and everyday heavy-duty attachments

Are these carabiners suitable for climbing or technical rescue?

These Oupeng sky carabiners offer high strength for many tasks but are not certified for technical climbing, mountaineering, or rescue life-safety systems. Use them for general outdoor, pet, and utility purposes only, and follow manufacturer guidance for load limits.

• Not recommended or certified for climbing or human-load arrest systems
• Ideal for non-life-safety outdoor gear and heavy everyday use
• Always inspect for wear and avoid shock-loading beyond rated strength

Who is this for: The Oupeng sky 28KN Auto Locking Carabiner Clips are aimed at outdoor enthusiasts, pet owners, and anyone who needs reliable, high-strength quick links for everyday heavy-duty tasks — campers, hammock users, backyard riggers, and people organizing tools or securing gear. If you require certified climbing hardware, choose products specifically rated and labeled for belaying or personal safety instead.
